I was part of a large group staying at Avandaro Hotel and the staff gave all of us wonderful service. They were quickly responsive to all issues and questions. And as someone with some strict dietary requirements, I was very impressed with the attention the restaurant staff paid to my needs and how proactive they were in helping me with... More

I stayed at the property for 9 nights. The staff was very nice and food was very good. The resort has a lot to offer and the surrounding towns are ideal for those travelers that love outdoor adventures. The town of Valle de Bravo is a must see.

I stayed at the resort on a business trip in October. We had all our meals at the hotel and the food was excellent. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. The resport is beautiful and has an awesome pool.

I stayed here as part of a larger group here for a corporate retreat. We received excellent service, including clean rooms, delicious food, and quality support from the concierge. The facilities on sight are also high quality, including an above average gym for a hotel.

I recently stayed at Avandaro for a work meeting for 8 nights. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly, spoke great english and were very acommodating. We had some early mornings and late nights and the staff was already ready to accommodate. They rose early for our 5 am breakfasts- which were delicious. And they stayed up late for... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a really nice experience. The weather that weekend was note very good, raining all day long but that didn't matter to enjoy our stay in Avándaro. My room had a fireplace, which with that weather I enjoyed a lot next to my boyriend. The breakfast buffet it's really good... More

I stayed here on a business trip in February. My room was large, had two beds, a fireplace, sliding door to green space, two closets and a large sitting area. This resort does not have any rooms with heat or A/C, but we didn't need it. It was in the 40's at night and 80's during the day. The restaurant... More

We are quite pleased that your stay with us was a memorable one. Thank you for sharing your opinions with the Trip Advisor community and travelers. The Monacrh Butterly sanctuary is located in the outskirts of Valle de Bravo. They migrate to this area from November through March each year, escaping from the winter season and travelling all the way... More

I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 since my experience ended up on a more positive note. First the Bad 1. As an English speaker, I can say the hotel staff is not geared towards English speakers. A few of the staff can speak English and the manager is fluent, else you should know at least a little Spanish... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. In spite of this opinion, we DO recommend taking the new toll road and follow the signs that lead to the hotel. The toll road is much safer and will get you here faster, barely 90 minutes from Santa Fe district in Mexico City. A map with pictures of each... More

This is not my first bad experience. I "had" to stay there because I went to a wedding in Valle de Bravo and the hotel was partially reserved for the guests attending. Last time I had a bad experience because something "dissapeared" from my room. It was nothing expensive but the issue was the lack of service and responsability the... More

Great option for a weekend if you like spa, quiet places for rest. At night becomes romantic low light and great views. Restaurant has a nice menu for dinner. Sunrise creates a great view from rooms so wake up early and open the windows. MYCE travellers will enjoy sessions and group nights at restaurant.
