I stayed a week in this lovely hotel. It is just up from the square. A school across street so you will have school noise. Church bells ring. Rooster crows. I travel with a noise machine so was not bothered by night noise. Delightful outdoor, surrounded by flowers, patio where I took breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean. Not posh. I would... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Abierta for 3 nights on a trip to Valle. We wanted a budget option within the town so we chose here. The hotel is on a little pedestrian only street just off the main square and so it isn't too noisy (although if you come to Mexico you need to expect some noise!).... More

Just a block off the main square. Not on the water front, but close by. The room we had was a bit dark (#5) but for $500p it was fine. The best part was the breakfast - actually the bacon. I will dream about it forever. I had pancakes the first morning and waffles the next. We ordered crispy bacon... More

We -baby girl, wife and me- stayed for a night in Casa Abierta. A lovely location with a very friendly and helpful staff, ok rooms, amazing patio restaurant with excelent breakfast. The hotel is one block away from the central square where the cathedral is and many many streets to walk around. The street where the hotel is for pedestrians... More

My son, his fiancee, and I just returned from an overnight to Valle de Bravo and loved our stay at Casa Abierta. We were happy to find such a convenient location, just around the corner from the square and up less than a block. So easy to wander around the square or down to the lake, and then come back... I just returned from a four day stay in the junior suite at Casa Abierta. I loved it (and even more the town of Valle de Bravo). The suite was large, atmospheric with all the mod-coms - quiet fronting on the pedestrianized street, though pedestrians can be noisy (ninos going to school) but worth it for the ease of people-watching... We stayed 10 days in this beautiful small hotel. It is 1 block from the zocalo (main square) and within walking distance to everything: restaurants, shops, galleries, artisan market and the lake front. The room was immaculate (although our room faced the street and was a little noisy from cars and the school across the street). The staff (English speaking)... More

Casa Abierta is a nice small hotel located near the center of the town and near the main church. It is about a one minute walk to the church and about a five minute walk to the lake. The small rooms are really small and the next size up is a good size. The small rooms were $40/night and the... More
