It's not as nice as some of the other archeological hotels in Mexico (like the Mayaland in Chichen Itza...I commented to my husband on the phone that "this place wanted to be the Mayaland when it grew up") but overall still quite nice. Lovely rooms, walkways, gardens and fountains....a short taxi ride to the site..don't believe the desk worker who... More

I stayed there for 1 night in order to take my flight in a air balloon next day. It was a nice and quietn afternoon, almost no sound at all. Didnt ate there, but I heard it was ok. The spa is ok, really small, but ok Tennis court looks abandoned. and the pool is a bit cold, but they... More

this is not a fancy modern hotel but its location is perfect, its food is superb, its beds are fine(though i didn't get to use them too much), its drinks are good and its atmosphere is so relaxing. what else is needed? we had so much fun. More

This delightful hotel is located 1 km or about 1/2 a mile from Puerta 1 of the Teotihuacan Zona Arqueologica. The ruins complex has 5 Puertas or gates where you can enter the complex. We arrived via bus from the Mexico North Central bus station and were dropped at Puerta 1. The walk with luggage was a litle challenging as... More

This was our fourth Villas Arq (inc. Coba, Chichen Itza, Cholula), so we sort of knew what to expect. The rooms were pretty much the same as the other three - small, but clean, and nicely kept. The great thing about this hotel is the location - staying right next to the Teotihuacan site means you are there early in... More

This hotel was very disappointing. I wish we had heeded the warnings left by other reviewers. There was a mix up with our reservation, even though we had prepaid and had booking information. It was not inexpensive as Mexican hotels go, yet the management hadn't bothered to swab the ceiling with bleach to remove the large patches of black mildew.... More

Stayed just one night and it is a fabulous location, a 10 minute walk from the bus. The rooms are OK, but a couple would want a two bedded rooms, otherwise one of you would have to clamber over the other to get out of bed. Good showers, but wifi does not work in the rooms or dining room. We... More

I had been wanting to explore Teotihuacan for a few years and the opportunity came up for a trip with my cousin. I had already decided that the Villas was the most convenient place due to location and price/amenities for what I need. I am easy to please, needing cleanliness, affordability, descent food and internet access. All was delivered better... More

This is an attractive, well maintained hotel, and the room was quite nice, though the walls were quite thin and we could hear late night arrivals. It is rather isolated, so the on site restaurant was our only choice. Unfortunately, the menu options were not particularly appealing (why so few Mexican dishes?) and the food was mediocre and overpriced. The... More

The hotel itself is fine and the location can't be beaten, but man, do these guys need to up their game. We stayed for 2 nights and basically the place was a ghost town while we were there. Here is a list of the things that went wrong during our stay: - No hot water on arrival or the second... More
