Conveniently situated hotel for the Archeological Site. A rather soulless place with small basic bedrooms which were cold and rather damp. Restaurant OK but no atmosphere. The worst Margaritas in Mexico at the bar!

Suprisingly nice hotel, comfortable nicely designed rooms, all close to the pyramids. The rooms are arranged in a courtyard fashion around the pool and outside dining area. Our room was really comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff including the onsite restaurant staff were outstanding, very helpful and friendly. They quickly arranged private taxi service to the airport for us... More

You can't beat the location of the hotel; quiet, close to the pyramids, easily accessible and with an inspiring view of the pyramids. The rooms are basic but very comfortable with good beds (bring your own pillow). It is a bit noisy in the morning when people are checking out but otherwise it is a very quiet and comfortable hotel.... More

You can see the pyramids from the hotel entrance. Nice charming hotel, my room was very clean and comfortable. The beer was cold and the fried fish dinner awesome. Just a short walk to the main entrance of Teotihuacan.

This pleasant hotel is only a stone's throw from the pyramids of Teotihuacan. It is much more attractive inside than from the outside. The pool is nice, as is the outside dining area. The staff was uniformly accommodating. Breakfast was the star here, in terms of cuisine. Enjoyed a fabulous massage in the hotel spa. Next time, I would book... More

The hotel is located on the cobble stone road that rings the site of Teotihuacan. It is a safe, ten minute walk from the hotel to Gate 1 of the ruins. The beauty of staying at the Villas is that you can be at the site long before the tour buses arrive from Mexico City and can enjoy the site... More

Superb facility next to the Teotihuacan site. Easy to drive to, park, then short stroll to the site. Quiet. Fantastic on site restaurant and very courteous staff. Relatively inexpensive. Highly recommended for the two day stay necessary to see everything.

Just returned from teotihuacan. The hotel is as close as you can get given the layout of the ruins. Enjoyed our two days. The restaurant was average. The rooms were small but clean. Thursday and Friday was very quiet but the weekend was much busier. Of course the ruins were busier on the weekends also. We timed our walk from... More

This is a nice hotel with most of the amenities you would like, except there is no Wifi in the rooms (available in the lobby and restaurant though) and it gets really cold in the winter (we were there at the beginning of December): there are heaters in the rooms, but the lobby and restaurant did not seem heated. Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Villas Arqueologicas Teotihuacan stands at the end of the Calzada de los Muertos (Avenue of the Dead), an ancient road at the center of Teotihuacan’s archaeological site, one of the most important and beautiful in the world. Along the same Calzada stands the magnificent Piramide del Sol (Pyramid of the Sun), arguably Mexico’s most recognized landmark. Teotihuacan is located 42 kilometers northeast of Mexico City along the Ecatepec-Teotihuacan highway, an excellent toll road built specifically to provide direct access to Teotihuacan from the city. The typical drive time is approximately one hour.Located directly within the archaeological zone, Villas Teotihuacan is a beautiful hotel with hacienda style decor where guests can enjoy the lush manicured gardens that surround the villa, or explore the adjacent archeological ruins and museum. Located within the villa grounds the remains of an ancient Aztec structure, to which guests have privileged access.Hotel Villas Teotihuacan rests peacefully against the exceptional backdrop of the immense Pyramid of the Moon. The rich greens of the abundant vegetation found throughout the property strike a harmonious contrast with the colors of the nearby ruins. The sizable remains of the authentic Aztec structure within the hotel’s property periphery add a unique highlight that blurs the boundaries between the archaeological site and the Villa in Teotihuacan.Influenced by an Aztec heritage, the Hotel Villas Teotihuacan shows detailed mosaic tiles that adorn the public spaces, while a series of fountains provide a joyful song in the background. The 42 guestrooms are built around a central courtyard that features a large, refreshing pool and patio restaurant. Elegant fireplaces compliment both the bar and the restaurant. The Villas Arqueologicas Teotihuacan Archaeological Villas also have four meeting rooms available for your conferences or business meetings. ... more   less
