Surprisingly this hotel is very close to the Teothihuacan Pyramids. For those who are in decent health, you can walk to the Teothihuacan Pyramids from this hotel. Hotel accommodation is unlike the first class Marriott hotels in larger city but has all the necessities for a pleasant vacation. The facility is very clean, neat, and has nice staff. We used... The staff was friendly and courteous. We had an amazing time the rooms were small but very clean. We enjoyed the bar very much the bartender was very friendly and give us great advice on how to see the pyramids the next day. The hotel was five minutes away from gate one to get into the pyramids and it was... More

Best location if visiting pyramids. Staff was very nice. Rooms are very clean. Old charming hotel. Bed was ok, pillows were hard as a rock! Very hard. Wifi only works out doors or in the bar, but is fast. Food was mediocre at best, great margaritas. Overall good place for a visit to the pyramids.

Perfect place if you are going to visit the pyramids. It will give you the opportunity to go early to Teotihuacan before the crowds arrive. Rooms a bit oddly set up but still comfortable and all the amenities you need. Walking distance to the ruins and many roadside restaurants in the area. Meals at the hotel were all a good... More

I chose this hotel because it is so close to the Teotihuacan site and easy to get to by public transportation from Mexico City which drops you off at Gate 1. It was an easy walk to the hotel from there or, if you prefer, there are taxis. Breakfast begins at 7 am; the site opens at 7:30. This allowed... More

Right besides the pyramids. Great hot ballon ride! But do not reserve the hot balloon ride with the hotel. The ride was wonderful and, after the ride, we were offered champain and we were taken for breakfast. At the restaurant, after breakfast, we were told that the breakfast was not included when reserved through the hotel. We protested that we... More

As a foreign tourist there's only one reason to ever stay here, and that's to get the jump on the zombie hordes that begin to shuffle through the gates of Teotihuacán each morning at around ten o'clock. In this regard, Villas Arqueologicas can't be bettered. Leave your room at 7 and you can be atop the sun pyramid before the... More

Wow. If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon in Teotihuacan I highly suggest this place. The hotel is in a very short walking distance to the pyramids which was very useful to getting a head start on our day of exploring. We booked this hotel very late and were... More

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel immensely. Firstly, the location is excellent, five minutes walk from Gate One of the site. The hotel is comfortable and charming, the rooms are well equipped with all you will need for your stay, and the entire hotel is kept wonderfully clean. The beds are lovely and comfortable, the shower was great... More
