When researching hotels in this area, there are not a lot of options, but this hotel deserves its rating. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The location is great, it took me all of 10 minutes to walk to the pyramids. The service is great at both the hotel, bar and restaurant. This was everything I was looking for... More

This is a good hotel if your expectations are in line with reality. San Juan Teotihuacan is a small Mexican town and Hotel Quinto Sol is a small Mexican hotel. You will not find extraordinary luxury but if you need a room to sleep in after visiting the pyramids and a hotel in a convenient location then Quinto Sol is... More

I was quite impressed with this property. The rooms were large and the whole hotel was immaculately clean. Lots of hot water...but, it takes a bit longer than normal to kick in. Comfortable beds. Very nice pool area for relaxing with the lulling sounds of fountains. The room was chilly (December) and lacked in-room climate control, although extra woolen blankets... More

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel once or twice a year for eleven years running. We love it. It is small but extremely well run. The people are gracious and helpful. The location is great - five minutes to the pyramids. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. And the food is good. The cost is also... More

The rooms are big and we had a great patio with chairs and an umbrella, Everything was super clean. The restaurant food was great. I only got Wi-Fi in the restaurant and lobby, but that was fine with me. I came to vacation not spend my time on-line. I found the beds to be a bit hard, but that is... More

Big, clean room and bathroom. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. For visiting the Teotihuacan site it couldn't be better placed for an early start. We were disappointed with the evening meal, the service wasn't that good. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have coffee which was good. We would recommend it for a night or two,... More

We stayed at Hotel Quinto Sol for 2 nights and the room was cleaned. However, the wifi was down during our visit. Even thought the staff advised us to use their computer in the lobby, the computer had no Internet access as well! We have been traveling in Mexico for 3 months and we need to reserve a hotel room... This hotel is like none other. Some rooms have a balcony where you could have a party for 25 persons. Without being cramped. Be sure to request a room with this balcony. By the way, it faces the pool which makes for great entertainment. (but not in January when it is cold). We ate 3 times at the hotel restaurant... More

My wife and I had a great time. We walked to the piramids in about 25 minutes from the hotel. We did this 3 times! They were awesome. We only stayed a week and did a few tours. Tipping is a major in Mexico. Be sure to tip well and you will be taken care of. The hotel rooms were... More
