La Mansion de los Suenos is a restored 17th Century Mansion with beautiful courtyards, exquisitely appointed guests rooms, a friendly staff, a wonderful restaurant, and an owner that really cares about her customers located in the heart of Patzcuaro just around the corner from the major square. And the nightly rates are very reasonable. I have phoned go make reservations... More

This intimate luxurious hotel gave us all we wanted and could ask for, and contrary to one scathing posting that I find very baffeling, the staff was very friendly, service great, and everything was super clean and cozey to the point we almost wanted to live in one of the historic houses. I am sure the colonial residents did not... More

I don’t even know where to begin. Nothing works at this hotel, neither the Jacuzzi nor the internet where working when we got there and nobody told us we just found out as the time went by. The room had a stale aroma like it hadn’t been open in ages despite the fact we had made our reservation in advance.... More

We checked to the most friendly helpful staff and the cleanest hotel my partner have ever seen!!!! The grounds and rooms were spotless and well cared for. The room was beautifully decorated with taste and style of old elegant mexico. I was dumbfounded even though it is right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle the room was... More

My wife and I decided to spend new Year's in the Pátzcuaro area. Being Mexico City based, we planned to drive and also get to know some of the surrounding attractions. We found the hotel via the Internet and from the moment of making our reservations, the service was simply outstanding. Joel (Front Desk Manager) is extremely friendly, capable and... More

I have stayed in this hotel more than ten times. I have carried guests there on at least five of those times. I have recommended the hotel to many others. I can't imagine what happened to cause the comments posted under "Gringo Naco", but suspect the fault lies not with the hotel. They are most accomodating. Excellent restaurant. Excellent location.... My wife and I spent a month in Mexico and put 4000km on a rental car visting the west coast and interior. Our travels brought us to Patzcuaro and La Mansion De Los Suenos... During the four days we stayed at Los Suenos, we explored the town and the surrounding area. If you are looking for craft items the area... More

After driving for seven hours, three of them through blinding rain over twisting, mountain roads, we arrived gratefully at Los Suenos. They were expecting us and it was a relief to turn our car over to the attentive valet. I went to our room with the luggage while my husband signed in. Laughter trailed behind me as pleasantries were exchanged... More

We just returned from an extended visit in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, which included two pleasant and peaceful evenings at La Mansion de Los Suenos. Our impressions and experiences are diametrically opposed to those comments expressed in earlier postings; "Gringo Naco" and "The House of Nos." We found "Suenos" on the Internet by researching www.tesoromichoacan.com.....a independant consortium of boutique... More

Ugly is the best word to describe this hotel, decorated in a gaudy fashion not representative of Michoacan. When I checked in, after making a reservation, the staff couldn't find my reservation, insisted they were full (never mind that the place was empty the entire time I was there), quoted me a rate much higher than what had been confirmed...
