La Casa Encantada was fantastic. Lovely grounds, big comfy room, great breakfast, super location, free parking, and free wifi. And even a welcome bottle of (good Chilean) wine! Only thing to note is that this is a B&B, not a full service hotel--so pay in cash, no 24hr doorman, etc. The town is also great. Aside from beautiful colonial architecture,... more

We stayed here for two nights in June 2009 as part of a trip across Michoacan. First, Patzcuaro is amazing and if you're thinking about visiting, definitely do. Wonderful arts/crafts, architecture, food, warm/friendly people, great plazas. Lovely, lovely, lovely. The hotel itself is stunning. Wonderful local arts and crafts fill each room. We stayed in the San Francisco room, which... more

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Encantada. The colonial house is artfully decorated and the gardens are lovely. Sleeping is very quiet. We were in the Grand Sala (two king beds), and slept in the back bedroom where it was dark and quiet. The front bedroom/living room area may not have been so quiet as it's on... more

My partner and I stayed for two nights at this lovely serene property except for the chatty staff when the office door was left open. Our first breakfast was disappointing in that it lacked variety or choice and the entree served was a very heavy quiche. The next day it was much better; perhaps as a result of an email... more

We spent a long weekend in Patzcuaro, Mexico staying at La Casa Encantada and we look back on this experience as one of the most pleasant aspects of our whole stay in Mexico (which is saying something as the country as a whole is so fabulous). I think originally we managed to find the hotel by googling 'hotels in Patzcuaro'.... more

We spent six nights here arriving at the end of December. We stayed in a wonderful oversized room (The Studio). Location, ambience, price and quality of the amenities and decor are all first rate. Breakfast is quite good and the owners have a profound respect for those of us who require early morning coffee at the ready. Office staff were... more

This is the most charming and gracious B&B in Patzcuaro. The property is beautiful. We loved the courtyard filled with beautiful plants and interesting objects. Each guest room is different . We had the opportunity to peak into most of the rooms at the the inn. All the rooms are filled with wonderful art., nice towels, good bath products, a... more

We chose to visit this town when we added a few days to our trip at the last minute. That decision was based in part on the fabulous reviews this property (and the town itself) received on Tripadvisor. Those reviews are spot on ... it is truly a wonderful bed and breakfast in an enchanting village full of warm people.... more

We stayed here 3 nights in late November. If we could pick this place up and take it with us wherever we travel we would be happy. We had a large room off the central courtyard with one king and (we didn’t need it, but what the heck) one double bed, great fireplace and good bathroom. We also saw the... more
