To describe Casa del Sol in one word…perfect! We have traveled extensively around the world staying in many different places and Casa del Sol is tops! We have visited Ajijic and stayed at Casa del Sol four times and will stay there again in a heartbeat. It is a lovely environment managed by Cathy, the owner. Cathy and her staff,... More

I was in Ajijic for the Feria del Maestros and stayed at Casa del Sol, an intimate and relaxing B&B that makes everyone feel welcome and at home. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and well maintained. Beds in Mexico tend to be rather hard and uncomfortable (often due to concrete bases), but not at Casa del Sol. They are... More

My husband and I returned from our wonderful trip last night...hands down, the best part of our trip was Casa Del Sol. Cathy, the owner, has the most incredible B&B ever! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the place-the decor, the ambiance, the staff...everything was delightful. Two of our friends had contacted Cathy about surprising us... More

What a terrific place to stay!!! This was our first trip to Ajijic, Cathy and her staff are great, and make you feel "at home" the minute you arrive. We have already booked our stay for next year...breakfast is great....and don't forget to check out Linden's "Nearly World Famous Blue Bombers" at "happy hour". He is the best. Tom &... More

We arrived late at night, and sounded he door button. In moments, Linden arrived and showed us how to use the coded entry. He showed us to our room, helping in carrying our bags. The room was what we had hoped for, overlooking he patio and pool. A large bouquet of flowers that a friend had provided, added to the... More

My fourth stay at Casa del Sol and I fall in love with it more each time I stay there. The Rooms I've had the opportunity to stay in various rooms on both floors on my many stays and wow, each one has it's own breathtaking view. The rooms are superbly decorated, spacious, with super comfy beds (if you get... More

Our stay at Casa del Sol was for 16 days. It was the most wonderful stay with the best beds, rooms and breakfasts anyone could ask for. Happy hour with LInden's margarita's were to die for. His menu for breakfast was beyond compare. Cathy's hospitality was superb. She treated us as if we were family. We HIGHLY reccommend staying at... More

The Casa Del Sol was beautiful, the rooms were wonderful and clean and the location was central to every important location in Ajijic. I highly reccomend this location for travelers without children. Casa Del Sol does have a pool, but it does not seen to be that child friendly. Its more for couples than family's. Great B&B. More

I've been to Mexico before but did not receive the wonderful service I got from Casa del Sol. I felt very taken care of. Being winter, we did have a rough travel experience due to snow in the US, but once we landed in Guadalajara airport, we were picked up by our friendly driver sent over by Casa del Sol.... More

There appears to be no place on earth quite like Ajijic. The weather is perfect, people are friendly, and the food is spectacular. This is a haven for expats and travelers. In the midst of this splendor sits Casa del Sol. Located in easy walking distance from just about everything, it is a tranquil resting place with an engaging hostess,... More
