My title may be unfair as I have not stayed in the other Hotels in Ajijic, however I can't imagine any place being better than Casa Blanca. Our host, Meredith, is an amazing person who puts your needs first. The hotel itself is small and quaint, very clean with exceptional service. The location is perfect! A five minute walk to... More

Highly recommend this hotel. We visited MX for the first time and were very fortunate to stay in this great little hotel. Staff were terrific. It is centrally located in easy walking distance to the lake, the plaza and shopping. And, it is very clean too! The staff go out of their way to arrange any services such as transport... More

Romance, conviviality, hospitality are words that come to mind when we think of our week-long stay at Hotel Casa Blanca: the full moon shining on palms and plants in the terraced courtyard below our balcony…the friendly al fresco breakfasts with fellow guests…and at the heart of this small hotel are Meredith, Jesus, and Juan—personifications of good-natured attentiveness and knowledgeable hospitality.... You have to come to this place. Top notch customer service! Clean and beautiful facilities! Knowledgeable staff about local activities, eating and recreation! Not just Right at the heart of the "City" but accesible to drive from there to any place in Mexico. As I see it, it's not just the place but the people that will go above and... More

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! You both were so kind, considerate, and friendly to all the staff and to the other guests; you brightened everyone's day with your positive energy! We will think of you every time we use our beautiful vase. Thank you so much for everything! More

We stayed for 18 days at Hotel Casa Blanca in January 2015. The hotel is small and cozy. The room was a little small to stay that many days but this is not the fault of the hotel. The hotel is just 8 rooms so guests can easily get to know the staff. We immediately felt at home. The staff... More

The Hotel Casa Blanca is a quaint boutique hotel in the heart of Ajijic. It's location is so convenient - just a few blocks from the plaza, Lake Chapala and the shops. I happened to be in Ajijic for the Virgen de Rosario festivities as well as Dia de Muertos and being at the Hotel Casa Blanca made it so... More

The staff is friendly, there is no question of that. However the rooms are very small and tight. While the bathroom was cleaned each day, there is mildew along the floors and windows. The hot water is very inconsistent. There is nothing seriously wrong with this hotel, but there is nothing special about it either.

I would describe this hotel as a three star property with five star service. The best part of this hotel is its staff. Wonderfully friendly and helpful. They really enjoy talking to their guests and giving advice when needed. The room, though a bit small, was comfortable and nicely decorated. Our least favorite experience was breakfast. They serve a good... More

This is a long overdue review for our great stay at the Casa Blanca and the wonderful city of Ajijic. Although there is nothing not to like, two things stood out as being exceptional. The first was the friendliness of the staff. From Jamie picking us up at the airport to our departure, everybody went out of their way to... More

I cannot recommend Hotel Casa Blanca enough. This was my first trip to Mexico and I was concerned about cleanliness, language barrier, water and plumbing. None of these worries were necessary. We were picked up at the airport by a driver affiliated with the hotel. The hotel was adorable, they had clean water and good plumbing. But more importantly, the... More
