I'm not sure why others thought this place was remotely good. The mattress on my bed was the lowest possible quality and felt like sleeping on a stone slab. Everything about the place was the cheapest quality you can buy including construction materials. He lets his dogs run around and poop all over the place. Everything outside of the room... More

Angel Flores is a guest house located about 2 blocks from the town plaza and about 6 blocks from the wharf and shoreline walk. It is an excellent value and is very clean. The pictures represent the place well and Skip and Felipe are excellent hosts. . Skip keeps the rates low, and for what you pay you get an... More

We had a great stay at Angel Flores last February and definitely give it "thumbs up" (we should have written this sooner, but time flies). The garden oasis setting, the full outdoor kitchen, the outstanding hospitality of Skip, the host and owner, and the value for your dollar combine to make Angel Flores a delightful experience. In addition, it is... More

My wife and I had a marvelous stay at Angel Flores for a full week thanks to the ever present hospitality of Guest House owner, Skip. From the moment we arrived until our departure, Skip was always ready with helpful suggestions- dining, walking, shopping, site seeing. We loved the comfortable, clean, and quiet king-size room. The communal kitchen was a... More

Ajijic is paradise made even more so by our stay for 7 nights at Angel Flores Guest House. The owner/host, Skip is a delightful gentleman who took us into his spectacular garden home and made us feel like his family. The location is a short walk into town, private, safe, and quiet. The gardens are restful, cool and amazing tenderly... More

If you desire a comfortable room, don't saty here! We were expecting to have a place like a nice B&B but without the breakfast. The comfort level of this room was what I would expect in a youth hostel. The bed, though large, was a typical Mexican hard bed without pillowtop or comfy mattress pad. The shower was large, but the... More

It is very sad to meet people that need to use derogatory connotations toward other visitors in order to state their personal opinions. However, we appreciate all the reviews to improve our services within a reasonable frame given the fact that we are a Guest House, at a very competitive rate and all of our services provided and pictures of... I was in Ajijic for 5 days and couldn't have found a better spot to stay. The owners are such wonderful people with the ability to make you feel as welcome as if you were family. I have travelled all over the world and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay

I just returned from a 5 night stay in Ajijic/Chapala. I found that staying at the Angel Flores and the attention to detail of Skip and Felipe was just what I needed to make my stay complete. I was left alone, allowed access to a functional kitchen, had a safe place to park my rental car off street and was... More

I stayed at thr Guest House March 5th while on a very short visit to Ajijic. In the short time I spent at the Guest House, (9:30pm t0 11:45am) I felt as if I had been reunited with long lost family! Skip and Felipe are by far the nicest Hosts I have encountered in my years of travelling. They made... More
