We just spent Thanksgiving weekend with friends celebrating their 29th Anniversary. Beautiful place with fantastic views of the lake and city. The host, Alix, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. They have the best Bran Muffins for breakfast we have ever eaten. I would go back just for those. Great location, just a few blocks from... more

We arrived in the evening to the balmy evening air and a genuine warm welcome from Emile and Alix. We were shown to a delightful room with an inviting balcony and a spiral staircase leading to the roof top. Here we sat sipping on Tequila watching fire-works over the roof tops of AJIJIC - Glorious. The next morning we woke... more

We were visiting Ajijic for two weeks and picked an "oasis in the mist"! Casa Tres Leones blends the sense of old Mexican hacienda charm with modern amenities. The terrace is awesome with a spectacular view of the lake and the well manicured gardens and pool. The Casa is centrally located in the village and about a 5 minute walk... more

My wife and I spent two weeks at Casa Tres Leones (CTL). This was our first trip to Lake Chapala. CLT was the perfect place for the type of stay we had in mind. It is 5 minutes from the center of Ajjic, yet isolated from the traffic and noise of the town. Located on the hill it provides a... more

Casa Tres Leones is a beautiful colonial style Mexican home. I have travelled all round the world and this is definitely one of the best places for a comfortable stay with the most friendly hosts, Alix & Emile. The pool is beautiful, the gardens very special, my room was fabulous with the most comfortable bed and breakfast was wonderful EVERY... more

This was my second summer staying at Casa Tres Leones. Each stay was for a month. Whether it is for a day or a month, you will enjoy the privacy, tranquility, comfortable and elegant surroundings. Alix and Emile are gracious hosts. Close to the village, yet outside the hustle, bustle, Tres Leones is a home away from home. So much... more

We spend a week a year in Ajijic and always try a new B&B every time. After spending this last July at Casa Tres Leones, our desire to keep searching may have come to an end. Alix and Emile tended to our every need. We were always relaxed at breakfast and poolside. The room (you must rent the Lover's Suite)... more

We stayed at Casa Tres Leones for 4 nights and had a wonderful time there. It was so quiet and relaxing the entire time. From the amazing hosts, lush garden around the refreshingly clean pool, view of the mountains and the lake, yummy breakfast outside, clean rooms each with a little outdoor sitting area, everything made our stay in Ajijic... more

We stayed for 2 weeks and wished it was longer, Alix and Emile are the perfect hosts and make you feel so welcome. The place is beautiful, central to town and the breakfasts are great all home made by Alix. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and private, our room had its own balcony over looking the garden and pool.... more
