We just spent last weekend at this very well organized and charming B and B. We found it to be just as charming as we had anticipated. We wouldn't stay at any other place. Our rooms was quite spacious, not one, not two but three balconies and a large private patio with couches. The room was impeccably decorated and VERY... More

Absolutely loved It! This place is peaceful & would highly recommend it to my friends & family. Casa Tres Leones is also close to town. The people there are nice & friendly. Thank you so much Emile for making us feel at home. Can't wait to go back. Beautiful place & great food.

TRES LEONES— OUR OASIS We cannot recommend a place more highly as Tres Leones. We would not even think of staying anywhere else. The management is efficient and generous of spirit. The meals are delicious and you are certainly not left wanting. The location is lovely and the rooms very well appointed and comfortable. Tres Leones is indeed an oasis.... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Mexican hasienda. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with views of Lake Chapala from our private Terraza. Our hosts Alix and Emile made us feel so at home. Our breakfasts consisted of freshly baked muffins and fresh coffee or prefectly cooked and presented other breakfast items. We were... More

This is very tardy....months in fact. By now, the daily stresses have offset the week we spent in a paradise in Ajijic. CTL is truly outstanding! It would be enough to sit at breakfast, looking over the pool and enjoying Emil's newest organic creation (try the French Toast). But the village is so charming, you want to spend time the... More

The idyllic setting of Casa Tres Leones with hot breakfasts on the terrace overlooking a pool, tropical garden and Lake Chapala were fantastic. Our exceptional hosts, Alix and Emile's suggestions and advice about navigating the township of Ajijic were most helpful. Some evenings we dined on the terrace overlooking the twinkling lights around the lake before retiring to our room... More

Let me begin by saying that Casa Tres Leones was more beautiful in person than I imagined.....breathtaking is the word that comes to mind. From the open terrace where each morning we were served a hot delicious breakfast, we could sit and look at Lake Chapala and a gorgeous mountain view. In fact, it seemed each way we turned was... A beautiful home with amazing gardens an inviting pool and great views of Lake Chapala and Ajijic from the patio. Breakfast was served every morning on the outdoor patio by Emile and it was very good. Nights were very quite with the occasional thunderstorm. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our plans in San Juan... More

I spent a week end at this hotel and the overall experience has been a very good one. The owner initially was not too forthcoming, for example to my request for a late check-out, but then he himself offered it, so that was kind of him. This is a B&B with a soul and character, the kind I like; the... More

Sorry we are belatedly writing the review, we had a death in the family, shortly after our return. We vsited for 3 weeks in Feb/March. It is a beautiful house and lush garden estate, truly de-luxe. Emile and Alix are gracious hosts, breakfast on the terrace was a daily delight. The uphill site, while away from all the town hubbub,... More
