The gentlemen in the Receptionist was very rude to women and was very distrustful . Make sure your room is available we showed up the place was empty and since we were there after 6 pm the gates were locked and did not open the door, we called several time and no one answered! We were forced to find another... More

We have stayed at Hotel Meson del Vino many times on our trips from Arizona to our house in Baja. This hotel is a super bargain in this trendy, often overpriced, wine producing area. The rural setting is quiet and tranquil. The property is fenced and safe. There is also a nice event area for large gatherings. We enjoy listening... More

I don't know how anyone could rate this hotel above a dive. Dark, dingy, holes in the sheets, fitted sheet barely covered the mattress. The bedspread and matching pillows were crunchy and could almost stand up on their own. I don't think they have ever been washed. I have stayed in many lower priced hotels in Mexico over the past... The hotel has lighting all over outside, we keep it dark because you have to understand that we are in a rural area and all services to the valley are much more expensive. The beds and pillows are wellness orthopedic, their supposed to be that way ! We wash and disinfect everything. The WiFi clearly states that is on common... More

Wanted to take a minute to thank Omar at Hotel Meson del Vino for taking care of our group that was traveling south to go whale watching. Our first night rendezvous was in Valle de Guadalupe and it was great. We took 5 rooms and enjoyed a nice Wine Tasting for $50 Pesos! (Current rate, $3 US) Loved their Cabernet,... More

We stayed overnight at the Hotel Meson del Vino for a chef's dinner we attended in the Valle de Guadalupe. We've stayed in hotels of varying degrees ranging from disrepair to luxury all around Baja California, so never expect perfection from value accommodations in the region. And $80/night in the Valle de Guadalupe these days is indeed a value! Our... More

Recently stayed here for a quick get-a-way. Price is very reasonable and room is clean. Some little things would make the place much nicer. First, the restaurant is only open weekends. There is no in-room coffee so it is difficult to get coffee if the restaurant is closed. The pool had no water in it and it would have been... More

Really cute spot for a 2 day weekend trip. It was a liiiittle tricky to find, so be prepared (took us a few passes to find the road) but we didn't stress. The grounds were really cute-- lots of land, a pool, and I believe a restaurant but it was not open when we were there. Not a problem, as... More

Just stayed here with my clients on an overnight tour in the Valley. Definitely hard to locate from the road, signage is NOT their strong point. But the hotel is very unique, lots of nice grounds, a small pool, and the rooms are clean and quaint. Much better than an American Style Hotel in my opinion. Benny Sr. and Benny... More

Well I can honestly say this is the worst place I have every stayed in. There was no signage from the road indicating where to turn off the highway and eventually we turned around, drove up beside a Police vehicle and they escorted us down the correct road to the vineyard. The Police truck honked it’s emergency ‘buzzer’ a few... More

Reminds me of a Motel 6 but with rather ugly decor that someone thinks is attractive. Clean, hot water, good internet, comfy beds off highway so no road noise. Our dog very welcome. Beds need mattress covers. (though this is not my first, clean otherwise, Mexican hotel that lacked mattress covers.) Pool was empty of water. (off-season?) Yes, could be... More
