This is a really special and beautiful place. We stayed for two nights on the way to and on the way back from climbing Picacho del Diablo, the high point of Baja. The winery and grounds are lovely; the rooms are spacious and comfortable; the owners, Don and Tru, and their wonderful staff are friendly, gracious hosts; and the food,... more

We just got back from a 1 night stay at Adobe Guadalupe and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is beautiful and the views are terrific. Karla brought our complimentary glass of rose out to the pool when we first arrived so we could enjoy the pool and scenery. The wines are terrific as well. Our room was... more

A group of five couples stayed for a long three day weekend of wine tasting. The Adobe is the best place to stay in the valley, although there are finally a few other choices popping up. The rooms are large, comfortable but spartan. No TV, just R&R. The center fountain and patio are gorgeous, as are the grounds. The vineyards... more

Adobe Guadalupe is a beautiful Mediterranean style hacienda with lovely guest rooms. The price per night is great for such a comfortable retreat. Rooms surround a fountain that softly splashes and doors on either side allow for a nice breeze to come in. The pool and hot tub are divine, and have a nice view of mountains and vineyards. Four... more

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at Adobe Guadalupe. This Inn is a slice of heavn in the Baja wine country. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable, the shower is huge and both breakfast and dinner are delicious. The setting overlooking the vineyard is glorious. The staff is helpful but unobtrusive. Don and Tru... more

Nice setting, but the bill left a bad taste in my mouth. Almost $700 for two nights lodging and two nights dinner. The place just isn't $700 worth of nice. The previous comments on small dinner/breakfast portions are correct. I am not a big eater and even I was hungry after the tiny dinner portions. It was as if they... more

I have re-read the previous reviews and I think they are all accurate. Adobe Guadalupe is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The owner, however, has a lot to learn about hospitality. As one example, we were there two days and on the second day there was no hot water in the jacuzzi and no hot water for showers. His... more

I went to A. G. to see about bringing a group of about a dozen people for a weekend in Valle de Guadalupe's wine country. The public relations gal was 'prickly' at best. She seemed annoyed that we didn't call for an appointment for a tour of the grounds and to see a room for bringing in a group. She... more

Just spent the weekend at Adobe Guadalupe with my wife and friends and had an enchanting experience. As the previous traveler mentioned, this is primarily a winery with the added benefit of having guest rooms and meal service. The 65 acres of vines, stables and guest rooms are beautiful and classically inspired in a New Baja California way. It was... more

I feel bad for the people who wrote negative reviews of this place, because they have really missed the point. As the owners explained it to us - first and foremost the Adobe Guadalupe is a winery. They just happen to have some rooms which they rent out - and they treat their guests like family. They cook for you,... more
