My buds and I, all divers have been staying at Don Gus, on our way down to Bahia Tortugas, for 6 years. The first time it was random chance. We had a vehicle problem and Don Gus was across the street. The facility is reasonably priced, rooms are decent size, it's clean, has hot showers, enclosed parking and is far... More

We really appreciate on our trip down and up the Baja that there are motels that allow dogs. This is not a deluxe place to stay - HOWEVER- the room was clean and basic and we slept well - so did our pooch!!! The restaurant is great - try the chilaquilles!!!!

We spent three nights here in a triple room. Beds are comfortable, good security, good shower, wi-fi and tv. The food was excellent as was the service.

The Don Gus Motel, a bright pink building with attached bar and restaurant, is a good choice for budget travellers. The rooms were spacious and fairly comfortable, although the furniture was quite worn and the quilts were very thin. The biggest problem was that there was no heat, which is an issue if you are there during the winter whale... More
