First, they have two levels of rooms, one level is pretty sumptuous luxury. The other is for businessmen. I can't imagine not taking the high level room because they have the unusual combination of high quality with an extremely low price. I travel frequently from Baja Sur to S. Calif. and this is the perfect stopover. To top it off,... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way to see the whales in guerro negro and liked it so much we stayed again on our way home. We stayed in the new rooms in back which I would recommend. Clean, modern and one of the best places we rested at. Mama Espinoza's is a very short walk for great... More

This is a wonderful gem in El Rosario!! We stayed in may hotels on our trip from Ohio to La Paz and this by far is my favorite! Old Mexico feel with all of the amenities. Safe, off road parking. Fast wifi. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Loved every minute and hated that we only were able to... More

I stayed here during the first night of our two day road trip from San Diego to La Paz. The hotel is clean, nice, and actually almost luxurious for Mexico standards. safe and quiet. Pets are allowed, too! The grounds are very clean, and the inner rooms are amidst interesting architecture, we took lots of photos. Parking is off the... More

El Rosario is easy drive from San Diego and this is a great place to stop. Large room, fast internet, dog friendly, quiet, big bulky towels, hot showers, shampoo/conditioner and body lotion - what more could you want after a drive through the desert! Parking lot next to hotel is locked at night so we felt as leaving or luggage... More

This little hotel tucked in corner of a an unassuming little Mexican town (El Rosario) is absolutely adorable. They should post different pictures on this site because they do not do it justice. It is wonderfully decorated and very clean! It's exactly what a 5 star Mexican hotel should be in my opinion. It's the perfect place to stop if... More

Near the Pemex Petrol station, the new rooms in this motel are super comfortable and correct, after a wilderness drive it's nice to find something that 's not basic. Recommend this for any travelers. It's a good stop, disappointed with Mama Espinosas next door.

On a marathon roadtrip to southern Baja, we were so pleasantly surprised by this beautiful gem in El Rosario. Really, nothing else to recommend about this town (okay, maybe Mama Espinoza's restaurant next door has delicious lobster and crab burritos for a price), but it's worth staying here if you want to break up a long drive through the desert.... If you're driving across Baja California, this is the place to stay north of Loreto and south of Encinada! If I recall correctly, the room was something like 450 pesos = $35.00 or maybe it was 750 pesos = $57.00 because it was late and I don't remember exactly, but whatever it was, it was worth it! This is by... More

We stayed here for a night on our way to Bhaia de Los Angeles. The room that we took is like a renovated museum, with a lot of wood work; two large king-size bed, with a mezzanine floor with two more single beds. The lighting of the room suits the context of the location. It is a nice place to... More
