This hotel was a welcome sight on our trip on the Alcan. This was my families last night on the AlCan and the restaurant served a good breakfast the next day. There were no creature comforts other than wifi (remember its the AlCan)and there was a decent northern lights display.

Honestly, the only place in Canada on the Haines between Haines and the border on the Haines highway to eat, gas up or stay overnight. If you stop for gas, say hello to Dennis. Quintessential Canadian, quiet, pragmatic, and a real good person. Offered a place for my Motorbike in January to overnight in a warm shop but I pushed... More

I really appreciated coming upon this tiny little town in the middle of nowhere. All I wanted was a warm bed and a shower in the morning. When I checked into my room there was a french woman that was reprimanding staff in front of customers. I felt really bad for the girl who was visually upset. I went ahead... More

Clean modest room. Full service restaurant and bar with pretty straightforward menu. Didn't need the plug in the night I stayed but appreciated that they were there. Friendly and helpful staff. Small gift shop.

rooms are old but kept clean, beds are comfortable. Most are away from road noise (traffic is pretty sparse) Food options are pretty good, often special is worth getting before it runs out. Staff and locals are usually friendly. I avoid the bar if sports/politics are being discussed. I keep to myself at night, locals are always friendly but....

The beds in all the rooms are new and comfortable. The view from the restaurant is amazing! Food is good and they often have specials for dinner. It is only a 3 hour drive from Whitehorse, a nice turn around trip.

Came over the border from Alaska and made this our first stop in Canada. Arrived after 11 pm,but caretaker was still in office. He was very friendly, and room was easy to find. Room was a pinch worn (but clean), which is to be expected for Yukon small town. Plug in worked, and room was warm..so we were happy.

There are not many choices for lodging in this part of the Yukon so a place like Talbot Arm Motel meets the needs of the Alaska Highway traveler very nicely. It certainly is not fancy - rooms are located back behind the restaurant, bar, and gift shop building. But there was a comfortable bed...quiet location...a FasGas gas station...and good food... What great place to stay the night after a beautiful drive!! Nice rooms. Good food. Cool saloon to hangout with other travelers. Quiet, comfortable, dog friendly rooms and great view! Dall Sheep viewing just around the corner with hikes and access to the water. Idk just really liked this place & only wish the northern lights had made an appearance... More

Well, considering it is the only gig in town it worked. We were supposed to stay on our way back and decided to change our time line to avoid it and Teslin (Yukon Motel). The staff were friendly; having gas available was the biggest plus. We ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which was good as we figured it would be... More
