We were coming up from New York to get away from it all. From start to finish (accommodating our needs to the pleasant rooms to the varied and the superb dinners) this was the perfect get-away. If you have a chance stay in the Patio Room - it is very pleasant and has a modern decor. The other rooms are... More

Discovered the Auberge when skiing at Mont Sutton last year, a local on the chairlift raved about Friday's Fish and Chips special. We went, were blown away and returned again the next night. The food is delicious, really a big cut above. When planning our trip this year, staying and eating at the Auberge was a "no brainer". Patricia and... More

My wife and I with a small group of friends stay at des Appalaches every February for a week of skiing on Mont Sutton. We have stayed at other inns and hotels in Sutton over the last 20 years, and this is the best. The dining alone is worth the stay.; it's reputation draws diners to the restaurant section from as... Sixth time we have come to Mont Sutton to go skiing, and have yet to even consider staying anywhere else. The have recently renovated their lower floor, menu was top notch as always, they were extremely accomodating for a family travelling with 2 young children and their package price was very reasonable. If you haven't stayed here before, its only... More

A lovely auberge situated between the town of Sutton and the ski area - Mount Sutton. The perfect place to headquarter one's outdoor winter activities. Beautiful clean modern rooms providing comfortable beds and excellent lighting. We were treated to the gracious hospitality of the innkeepers and staff and enjoyed the living room in front of the fireplace, sunny breakfast room... More

Lovely owners and staff - made us and our two daughters (1 and 5) feel very comfortable. They went the extra mile for us when a health emergency came up. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We will definitely be back.

We spent three days at the Inn with a large group of friends and family ranging from 5 to 80 years old. Within 2 minutes of the Mt. Sutton ski station (even has a free shuttle running between the hotel and the ski hill!), Auberge des Appalaches is the perfect place to relax for some après-ski by the fireplace, either... More

We stayed here in the fall of 2013. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel very much; it is very relaxed, the owners welcome you from the beginning, and the rest of the staff are all so polite and friendly. They have a bar and restaurant onsite, which is very handy. The restaurants serves excellent food (see my review) and... More

Few things are more enjoyable to Montrealers looking for a weekend getaway outside the city than a fabulous inn like this one. Patricia and John, the owners, are fantastic, kind people passionate about their inn. And it shows! The rooms on the upper floor are older but still very cute and welcoming. But my favourite ones are on the ground... More

Rented the whole place for a night with friends and Will let them write the lodging revues...All were happy, as far as i know. We ate a meal for 25 people as special as a gourmet meal can be. Chef's special duck confit is always the best. Vegetarians were happy with a refreshingly tasty risotto. Fish eaters were thrilled with... More
