Our family of four stayed five nights in a one-bedroom suite in the Auberge. The resort is located beside a picturesque lake only a 40 min drive from Quebec City. The room: Our suite was a bit on the small side. We did have a lake view (as advertised) though it was somewhat obstructed by trees. The room was very... More

The rooms in the Auberge were nice, but a little basic. Good size. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice view of the lake. The food in the restaurant was ok, but not great. But this place wins on the best outdoor activities for families. Incredible hiking trails. A pretty lake with a small beach, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards.... More

This hotel is a beautiful place to relax overlooking Lac Saint Joseph - the area offers lots of walks/hikes - long and short. The staff are very helpful - just appear when needed. The rooms are very accommodating and roomy. All rooms have a lake outlook. The food was great and plenty of it. Unfortunately only had two days one... More

Was at this hotel for two days for a workshop. Beautiful surrounds. Friendly staff. Excellent food, and they catered well to my vegan dietary needs. Comfortable room. Excellent places inside and out to discuss. Coffee (both brewed and espresso) are great. Lovely large lake nearby. The downside is spotty internet - evidently a small bandwidth problem. Two thumbs up.

Let's say I was surprised by this place. I've been at Duchesnay several times, but this is the first time staying at the auberge. Nice rooms, attentionate service. We had dinner and brunch at the auberge. It was very good. Well above expectations and to some places we had visited in 2013 that have good reputation. We also went to... More

We stayed in a suite with our two boys after two weeks of camping in Ontario and Quebec. It was a lovely treat after being in the woods for a while. The suite is huge, with a separate bedroom for the king sized bed and a pull out sofa in the sitting area. It has a view of the lake,... More

We spent 4 nights here after enjoying the winter Carnivale in Quebec City. We stayed in the lodge and were a group of 6. The rooms are well appointed and modern. There was a mini-fridge in the room which was handy for drinks and occasional left-overs. Views over the (frozen) lake were great, especially during the snow. We snowshoed every... More

(Actually travelled in July 2011 not 2012) My family did the old school thing and rented one of the cottages. A little rustic but better than tenting it with toddlers, way better. 3 couples and 3 toddlers all in one cottage. Great classic family atmosphere. It was also nice to be able to take advantage of the pool and the... More
