We stayed at the Hotel de Glace for one night and Auberge Duchesnay two additional nights. The staff was really friendly and will try to accommodate you in any way possible. If you don't speak French that is okay most staff members were bilingual. The Dinner at the AUBERGE WAS GREAT but not expensive. Their 4 course meals are around... more

Went to the Hotel Du Glace for my 39th birthday! Booked everything online at thier website and then by corresponding with the hotel via email. Had to pay through paypal over the website which I didn't like. Could always have called the hotel to make the reservation however. My partner and I decided to book the two night package which... more

I just got back from the Hotel de Glace. My best friend from college and I went for the weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself was a marvel. They let you tour all the different rooms prior to check in so you can see the art of each suite. First you check into your warm room at... more

You really can't compare this experience to any other, so I found it difficult to rate i.e. the room: what can you say about a room of ice? Compared to what? However I'll do my best. We stayed one night in the ICE Hotel. Contrary to other reviewers we found the staff extemely helpful and pleasant. The sleeping demo was... more

My mom and I just returned from the Hotel de Glace, where we had a most memorable time! The hotel itself is stunning -- the photos on the web site just don't do it justice. I felt like I was in an ice fairy land or something out of a movie. It was much larger than I thought, with 36... more

I recently surprised my husband for his 40th bday with a trip to Quebec...1 night stay at the Chateau Frontenac in old Quebec followed by 1 night stay at the Hotel de Glace and 1 night stay at the accompanying Auberge Duchesnay. Below is our feeback with regards specifically to the Hotel de Glace: TRAVEL: We found it to be... more

I went to the ice hotel with my husband as a birthday surprise for me in February. He was skeptical about going, but planned the trip anyway since I wanted to go so much. In the end I owed him a big apology for wasting so much of our money on an experience that left us feeling cheated. I'll start... more

We stayed one night at Hotel de Glace after spending a couple of nights in Quebec City in late February 2009 and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. While it was great, it's not something we really feel the need to do again unless we visit the original Ice Hotel in Sweden, which we're considering. We booked the Enchanting Discovery package... more

We stayed at the Hotel on the 18th of February. Seeing how others have made many comments, here are some words of advice for those staying overnight. BOOK A THEMATIC SUITE (for once in a lifetime experience, in my opinion, it is worth the extra cost). If you are going in 2009, for a romantic evening, ask for a non-hockey... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel de Glace for one night, 15 February 2009. It is quite an exciting experience! We found the staff to be quite helpful and very informative. After reading TripAdvisor reviews, we made sure to arrive at the hotel in time for the last English-speaking tour at 4:00 pm. We began the tour, but... more
