The hotel has nothing worth mentioning, but the food at their restaurant is the best I've tasted. Location is great for those who want to visit the Park. More

Reputation of the Gite preceeds it and is well deserved. We did 3 hotels of the SEPAQ and the Gite ranked second (first choice is Auberge Fort Prevel and third choice is Auberge de Montagne Chics Chocs). Fort Prevel is cheaper and has the best food. Ranked as a third star it is a sure value. The gite du Mont-Albert... More

The Gaspe coast national park is a "must" With a friend we spend 10 days in the area. We walked the 100 km National park staying in "refuge" . It was the best of our experience of trekking. And you should try it. On the top you embrace the beauty of all! Animals, forest, flowers...etc More

Thank you for your comments, although it think that it is intended to the Forillon National park, on the coast of the peninsula. Le Gîte du Mont-Albert is located in the Gaspésie National Park, inside the peninsula, 25 miles south of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. David More

Very large and clean rooms. The service was as expected. It is a beautiful Inn built in the '30 and nicely renovated. HOWEVER .... our package included buffet breakfast, what a disappointment. Very ordinary, hot food was cold and they serve canned fruits. Far from the 4-start hotel advertised. More

The Gite du Mont-Albert is located along road 299 in the parc de la Gaspésie. The location is actually one of a motel, so don't think it is going to be a romantic hotel located far away in the wilderness. Yet, the mountains surrounding the place are beautiful. Our room was exactly the kind of room you find in a... More

We had a chalet and it was amazing!!! I would go back in a heart beat and I will be recommending this place to anyone who wants to go. Location was amazing. It's located almost in the middle of the park so fill up with gas and food before you enter. Location meant that you were also close to many... More

Ok, the location is great and the service is also great, but honestly a room is important. And to me, it felt like the rooms were 20-30 years old. I could hear the people in the next room having sex. The carpet is green and the whole room hasn't been renovated in years. I visit many hotels every year and... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night, taking the room & breakfast package. This is by no means an inexpensive place to stay, so our expectations were quite high. I will begin with what we felt were the positives: 1) Beautiful location. The scenery is amazing, and this is the only on-site hotel we are aware of so... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on a park experience package that included breakfast, a lunch pack and a four course meal every evening. We had an absolutely fabulous time, using the great location of the gite (bang in the centre of a beautiful national park) as a base from which to do some hiking during the day. The room... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Gite. The personnel was very friendly. The room was large, rather basic, but very quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Room had a flat-screen TV. We used the laundry facilities, which worked well. The hotel has a nice pool in front, which we did not use. All rooms have a nice view of... More
