We have just returned from our second visit to le Gite de la Gare - a gem in the Laurentians. In summer we had one overnight stop there while doing le P'tit Train du Nord cycle, and this past weekend returned with 3 friends for a skiing weekend at nearby Mont Blanc. Eliane and Normand are wonderful hosts - always... More

Norman and Eileen are the perfect B&B hosts, making us feel comfortable and welcome. They provided excellent filling breakfasts and delicious dinners. The dinners were helpful because there were no restaurants nearby. One night they seated us on their backyard deck and we ate overlooking the beautiful gardens. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staying here contributed to our vacation immensely.

This small B&B was perfect. The room was quite nice, and the breakfast was delicious. The owners are over-the-top friendly and helpful. After cycling for 45 miles in the rain, I arrived soaked to the proverbial bone. Eliane was kind enough to wash and dry my biking clothes so I could start out the following day with dry gear. They... My wife and I stayed at this place twice and we have nothing but great things to say about it and its hosts. They are amazing gourmet cooks - try their blueberry pie and see for yourself. The rooms were cozy and impeccably decorated. We would definitely stay there again!

We cycled from Nominingue to Saint-Faustin on a wet day. A slight incline for the last part of our 70 kms. By the time we made it to the old train station, there was no sign directing us to the gite de la gare. That's the only thing we would change. The hosts Normand and Eliane were very welcoming. We... My fiancé and I spent a night a this wonderful B&B this past weekend and have nothing but good things to say about it! First off all let me start by saying that we are not typically B&B people but we wanted to avoid staying in the Mont Tremblant village as we were hoping for something a little more relaxing... More

We took a weekend bike trip on the Petit Train du Nord bike path with another couple. St-Fautin-Lac-Carre was an ambitious destination (about 90k, slightly uphill, from our starting point), but we were so glad we made the effort. We arrived at the gite a bit later than expected (after 7pm), covered in sweat and dirt. We were greeted with... More
