I stayed at Le Point de Vue about a week ago when I was in Rigaud for a wedding. We only spent one night there but had a lovely experience nonetheless. The B&B itself is very charming and located on the top of a hill with a pretty view of the surrounding landscape (with a windy river in the backdrop).... More

My wife and I were attending our son's graduation in early November. We arrived on a miserable cold and rainy night and before we could leave our vehicle, Jules came out with a big umbrella to welcome and escort us inside a warm and cozy house. The place is spotlessly clean and tidy, decorated with many collectibles. It has the... More

My family (all couples, no kids) stayed here the night of my sister's wedding. The room we stayed in was small, clean and cozy. The decor is a little cluttered-cottage style but very warm and inviting. The sleep was great but it's all about the morning when you walk out onto the balcony and see that view... it's breathtaking. Take... More

My wife & I are extremely appreciative for the extra arrangements Jules & Mario made to ensure our 25th wedding anniversary visit was so enjoyable: calling us back to offer a special room; staying near the phone as we arrived late at night to ensure the door was open for us; and a very special breakfast that is the most... At least 180 degree view from Mont Royal to Lac des Deux Montanges to the Carillon Dam upstream on the Ottawa River. Stunning. A wide variety of accommodation available. Wonderful breakfast. Hot tub. If arriving by bicycle avoid the brutal steep climb up Chemin Bourget from Rigaud. Instead approach via Chemin St George. After a climb up to the Gite,... More

Our parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend. We brought them to the Point de Vue for two nights. There are no words to say how great this place is. i could focus on the view, the spa, the unbelievable breakfasts, the cozy and comfortable atmosphere in the rooms etc. but the stars of this place are the... The other reviews here say it all, so not sure what I can add. I would emphasize the breakfast size- huge! Come very hungry. Its what I would describe as "full breakfast, French country side style". The owners are very accommodating. Beautiful grounds (visit was 1st part of Aug), weather was fantastic, although we heard the previous year had temps... More

The first thing you notice: gorgeous view, really amazing panorama, from the top of Mount Rigaud down to the Ottawa river, blinking waters, green acres, never ending sky. The second thing you notice: beautiful big blue house, with white balcony, large windows, fantastic detailling, maintain with certainly love and care. The garden around it is also noticeable, many many flowers,... More

Just stayed for one night at Le Point de Vue. The breakfast was amazing- a smoothie, fresh fruit, homemade maple caramel dip, brie, eggs, bagel, bacon, croissant, and more! Way more than I could eat actually....I felt bad because I couldn't finish it, but it was delicious. I stayed in their most economical room, with the bathroom on the main... More

Absolutely phenomenal. The hosts (Mario and Jules) were great. Mario's breakfasts alone are worth the stay -- a more charming guy you'll never meet. My wife and I didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about how lucky we were to chance upon this place. Wow. (We stayed in the one room on the second floor that had its... More
