We have been going to the chalets at Fairmont Kenauk for a few years now. Since we live about an hour and 15 minutes from there, its a very handy place to go for a few days to fish or just to relax. We have stayed at the Pumkinseed chalet that does not have the best fishing becaause of all... more

Just back from a 4 night stay at Kenauk. Of course, they can take no credit for the fabulous sun and calm waters, but everything about the chalet, the dock, facilities, and decor/design was supurb. We took our children and grandchildren for an Easter visit to Kenauk and had perhaps one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. The property is so vast that we could have spent the entire weekend without contact with a single person. The surroundings are beautiful, and the sense of peace and togetherness was wonderful...Recommended to all !! Rick... more
