Our family just enjoyed a week long stay and we had a very relaxing holiday. Our kids' ages are 5, 3 and 1. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage/chalet. To elaborate further, the setting at the Windigo is extraordinary. You are surrounded by nature. The beach is just fantastic. There are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. The water at... More

We stayed in a cottage for a week with two kids aged 12 and 14, and had one of our best family vacations ever! This place is, quite simply, extraordinary. The setting is magnificent, with the sprawling Baskatong reservoir, beautiful sandy beach, remarkably secluded location, and mountains in the distance. The effect is quite magical - between the location (45... More

Our family of four (including newborn baby) spend two weeks there in Summer 2012 and we still remember Windigo Village as one of our best family vacation. In the middle of pristine wilderness we found luxurious and stylish cottage, very clean. The staff was very nice. Our son enjoyed spending time in games room with very polite staff who was... More

August 20-23, 2013 This was our first stay at Village Windigo but definitely not the last! From the first contact on the phone for reservation, we felt welcome. The person was very pleasant and even suggested we arrive as early as possible to take advantage of the site and all the amenities. The length of the trip to get there... More

Hello, I'm delighted you had a wonderful time at Windigo and that you intend to come back. Summer is great and winter with the fire place is great too. I take good note for the internet in the condos as well as in the restaurant. This is in our plan for next year. Kindly Marc Mestdagh More

We've travelled here twice now, and had the opportunity to compare the resort to a similar property nearby in Quebec - Windigo compared very favourably for us. It's a bit of a trek - with the last 20 min is on a windy undulating road that badly needs repaving, but it's worth it when you arrive. The resort consists of... More

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience at Windigo. What can I add to your comments. I do take notes for improving our bikes and canoo material. We usually buy new materials every year to complete our inventory but do not replace all of it. Glad that you could experience different seasons and rates. Summer is one of our most... More

We had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at Village Windigo a few weeks back. It was a very pleasant stay in a very charming environment by Réservoir Baskatong close to Mont-Laurier. The condo we had was facing the lake and it was very comfortable and quiet. We went for a ride on kayaks and pedalboat on the... More

We stayed at Le Village Windigo in a self contained cottage for two nights whilst on a snow adventure. Our villa contained three bedrooms and bathrooms, and we fully self catered our meals as there was no store on the premises. Our villa was cosy and comfortable with an open fire, despite the freezing temperatures outside. The staff were very... More

Dear visitor, I'm so gald you had a nice experience and that you will recommand Village Windigo. The closest supermaket is 28 km far (Ferme Neuve). We always try to help with the missing stuff that we can provide. Otherwise, as Michel did for the fire, we try to accommodate our host and make their stay unforgetable. Hope to see... More

I spent a couple of nights at Le Village Windigo last month for a snowmobiling adventure. This was my first visit and hopefully won't be my last! The chalet we rented was of a post-beam construction, and seemed to be only a few years old. Well maintained with a modern kitchen, fireplace, cable tv, etc. For a rental property, it... More

Hello, Village windigo is 28km far from Ferme Neuve. It's an asphalt road for all of it. Only the last 500m are in gravel. But if you come by Val Limoge then you will have gravel all the way. I wish to thank you for the excellent comments about the restaurant and take good notes of your suggestion for more... More
