The restaurant at the Auberge is very good and definitely worth a visit. (Rated and reviewed separately). However the accommodations are out of date. The bed is comfortable and provides a good sleep. However there are ashtrays on the balconies and you can smell cigarette smoke in the rooms. Furniture is old and showing wear and tear. Hallway carpets are... More

My wife & I first stayed at the Auberge for a night almost 40 years ago. We recently recommended it to a friend who was delighted by the overall atmosphere & ambience. We changed our vacation plans and returned to Charlevoix in fall of 2014 for a fews days and took up residence at the Auberge. While the interior appears... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. We had the suite with the fireplace that is pictured online. The online pictures make it look perfect. Do not be fooled by them. The suite is dated and needs considerable updates. Everything about the suite needs renovation and upgrading except for the fireplace. The view is fantastic. We did not... More

We have been a the Auberge 4 times, 3 times in September 2009,2010,2011, and last year we decided 1st week of October 2012. What a scenery.....the colors were breathtaking and so happy to be there for the foliage. Last year we stayed 5 days and enjoyed every moment as far as the room, 2 large beds but they should change... More

The vistas are beautiful. Comfortable rooms and excellent staff. Breakfast was just all right. We did not have dinner at the Inn as we had recommendations to go elsewhere. It is a nice place and certainly would stay there again.

One of the best view in La Malbaie... Better than the Manoir! Very close to the Manoir. Impressive building Very nice salon with fireplace. Salle à mager have an impressive view on the St-Lawrence River!!! Rooms are nice, not too big, not too small. Bed is average. Quiet place and relax. Restaurant are very good, lots of opportunity to eat... More

We stayed 3 nights in this inn. The room was spacious with two double beds and walk out to balcony to the magnificent view of the St. Lawrence. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The staff is professional, courteous, bilingual and very patient given my poor French languages skills. Free wifi and the signal was strong. The only drawback... More

We stayed in 123 ( lake view 2 double beds) and the view was breathtaking! You should bring your ear plugs though because the insulation does leave something to be desired of .... Still, for the price , the location is amazing and you should treat yourself to diner here.. Wow... Especially with Michel as your waiter, he was the... More
