We stayed at a different Fairmont and were very, very impressed. This Fairmont was not near as impressive. The staff was very nice and the facilities very clean. I was not impressed with the rooms. The were very small. The food was not very good and was a bit pricey. I would not recommend this stay for children. There is... more

We stayed six nights in September/October and enjoyed every day of gorgeous fall scenery and every night at the hotel. We were in Room 771, which we found to be spacious and luxurious. You have to walk down a long hall, transfer elevators, and so on to get there, but we thought that was part of the charm of the... more

This hotel went out of its way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the time we were checked in by Nadine to the time we left two days later we experienced the best of Quebec hospitality. We tried the food in the various restaurants and found it well prepared and the setting overlooking the ST. Lawrence was superb.... more

Everything was first class. The golf course was terrific, the pools are great and the food was out of this world. I'm sure there are better places to stay but I don't know where they are. more

My boyfriend and I traveled to Quebec last fall and spend 3 magical days at the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu. There really are no words to describe how much we loved this hotel. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful - they knew us both by name by breakfast the first morning! I highly recommend the Bed and Breakfast package, it... more

Travelled here with wife and baby. About two hours from Quebec City, and not an easy drive, but turned out to be well worth it. Grounds and hotel are beautiful. There are a number of things to do from a resort standpoint. Great place for a family with kids or an older couple. Poor option if you are looking for... more

Less than a 2 hour drive from Quebec City, we arrive at "The Castle on the Cliff" Le Manoir Richelieu which dates back to 1899. The original wooden structure was replaced in 1930 with a massive concrete Chateau, designed in the picturesque style prevailing in France when Cardinal Richelieu was in power. Stone and wrought iron stair cases and terraces... more

Having stayed twice in three weeks (due to pre-paid scheme, unfortunately), we were very disappointed with this hotel. The location is very beautiful, and clearly this is what you pay for. The rooms are small and outdated. The bathrooms not properly cleaned, and on the second occasion, the only elevator servicing the entire back-wing of the hotel was out of... more
