A very nice place to stay. The view on the St.Laurence is just amazing. The couple (owners) are very helpful and very friendly. The atmosphere is great and very relaxing. Room was nice and clean, a bit small but nevertheless ok.

We were happy to find this lovely small Auberge. Although the beds were rather small the rooms were sufficient in size for our needs. A delicious breakfast, comfortable living room with many books and a fire and pleasant hosts made our stay worthwhile.

We arrived sort of in chaotic circumsances at this auberge. We originally booked at La Pinsoniere, not even half km down the same road, the clerk screwed up our labour day wkend figuring labour day was sept 7, so we showed up and they were booked solid with our reservation for following wk end. We had planned this get away... More

Having read some of the other reviews, I agree that some of the rooms are small. We did not feel, however, a lack of privacy at any time. We could hear a bit of noise from the next room but nothing intrusive and nothing that would suggest that they could hear us talking, for instance. The common terace was a... More

I wavered between a rating of a 3 and a 4. Hopefully my explanation below will help you decide whether this is the right place for you. What I liked: the hosts were very warm and helpful in making any arrangements we needed. The breakfast was really nice and in a lovely space. Although it rained and we couldn't really... More

The first thing that you notice when you step out of the car is the beautiful smell of the beautiful gardens that surround the Auberge and the next is the view over the lake. We were made to feel very welcome, despite the fact that we arrived early and that kindness lasted all through our visit - our hosts could... More

My wife and I stayed for our one-year anniversary and it was awesome! The staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome! We had a room with a view of the river and were so pleased with the location and surrounding beauty. Our breakfast was amazing, with a beautiful room and fantastic service! I can't say... More

We spent a lovely 2 nights at the Auberge at the end of September. This region is beautiful and this inn is the perfect place to stay. We especially enjoyed the ample breakfast with its delicious croisssants and homemade blueberry jam. There was a choice of breakfast items and great coffee. It was lovely to sit on the balcony outside... More

My family traveled from the Thousand Islands through to Montreal, Quebec and Malbie. We arrived in Malbie very late, and we were hungry. We had purchased some food at a grocery store on the way, and wanted to eat at the Inn. Pierre was graceful enough to open his dining rooom to all 5 of us. We sat down to... More

We had a little cottage with a wonderful view to ourselves. The French country style decor was so pretty. Linens were cute and so soft. The country-modern fireplace (European style for sure) was very cool. Hope we'd gotten to see it in action! Kitchen was well equipped and the deck (stunning view or water/garden full of flowers) even had a... More
