Madame Dubois and her husband Jules, have closed down Aquamer for personal health reasons. Aquamer is (was) the most serious health spa in Canada...not a new nails & sauna hotel, but a real opportunity to regain health over a seven day stay. I would be dead were it not for Aquamer. I've visited since 1990 and never regretted the $2500... More

I made a stop at Aqua Mer and stayed 2 days on my way from Percé to Montréal.They had a beautiful new room available, with state-of-the-art amenities. They offer 3 categories of rooms, therefore, at different prices and location on the property. This Health Center is located on a busy route (132) but if you want a quiet room, they... More

This is not a beauty spa, it's a health spa. They use warmed filtered sea water for treatments (thalassotherapy). You can go to heal, or simply to relax (like "taking the waters" as they did in the 19th century), for a day, a week, or more. The setting by the sea is beautiful, the food (3 meals a day included)... More
