This was quite literally the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. The bed was hard, lumpy and had springs sticking out. It also made a horrendous noise with the slightest amount of movement. A musty, stale smell permeated the room, which was no surprise given that the hotel clearly had not been (re)furnished since the 1950s.... more

We stayed one night in the hotel at a cost of $75 + tax for a standard room (low season). Cost was the big factor in choosing the hotel and it was en route to Matapedia. It is OK for a 3 star hotel but a little bit noisy because of the road. The staff is very friendly. You have a balcony and a nice view. The room is confartable. more

Our unit #53 was more than disappointing. Broken screens. Obviously no A/C. The beds were scrap. Furnishing was obsolete and finished. Electrical wiring looks dangerous. The bathroom door can't be locked. Cable TV was poor and very limited. So we complained to the front desk. We asked to talk to the owner twice. Of course, he never called back so... more
