We rented the birches chalet for our family of 5. I thought we had rented the Applachian chalet, but when we arrived, they claimed it was the Birches. Never could figure out the discrepancy but it was alright with us. The house was very nice, but did need a little attention. The oven in the kitchen didn't work and lighting... More

An amazing getaway tucked into a perfect setting. While we were underdressed after just arriving for dinner, we had a quick swim and gourmet dinner and made to feel welcomed by all staff. An amazing start to a wonderful mini vacation. Truly a gem.

we had the good fortune to spend 2 nights at the ripplecove inn. Delightful lakeside setting, beautiful gardens, welcoming reception on arrival, comfortable room, good food in the dining room which overlooks the lake. we enjoyed the spa with organic products, swam and kayaked in the lake, and played tennis. the only thing that travelers should keep in mind is... Second time here. First dinner here was a mixed feeling. The restaurant clearly lacks pure EXCELLENCE, it is here for a purpose, but it is not a destination. It is good, but for the price and location needs to bring it up a notch. Not as good a s Manoir Hovey. Ingredients where great. Service was ok, price was expensive... More

We have been fooled by the owner and our reservation in a suite in the "annexe" has been downgraded to a suite in the old hostel with alcove with a small double bed instead of a king bed... My husband is 6'5"... Humid and very small place. Smelly! So disappointing! As returning guests we would have appreciated to be treated... More

Nestled in a small corner of the Eastern Township not more than an hour and a half from Montreal, Quebec, in Canada is an oasis of solitude and wellbeing. My wife and I recently visited The Inn needing a complete respite from our daily routine. We could not have found a more perfect spot to invigorate our life. From the... More

Beautiful as never seen before. Beautiful rooms and environment and atmosphere and people. I could not believe what I had booked. The first morning I went down to the terrace for breakfast and boom this beautiful lake was just there. I didn't talk for several minutes. The scenario was breath-taking. Everybody deserves such experience. If there is a person out... More

we visited the EASTERN TOWNSHIPS ( as they are known in Canada). Located above Newport VT, there is a 400 km tourist loop, taking you thru the most breathtaking countryside you have ever seen. The loop is called Chemise des Cantons or ""road of Villages". Highlights are lake MAGOG ( a 25 mile long glacial lake surrounded by small walkable... More

Our plan for a two-night stay, June 10 to June 12, 2015 was to spend a short getaway with friends, in a nice place in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. We were returning to an area which holds dear and special memories for the four of us. This short stay was ruined by an unexpected, offensive decision by the owner... More

I sincerely regret that my actions to protect your property ruined what was otherwise a pleasant stay with us. As I explained to you at the front desk, we called both you and your travelling companions three times to ask you to move your car to no avail. I waited until the latest possible minute to move your car and... More
