The ferry from the Mags was anchored out at sea until the winds died down for it to be able to dock in Souris. We were very fortunate in getting a room at the Singing Sands Motel. Although our room was dated in appearance, it was clean and the owners were the nicest people making every effort to make our... More

Can't say enough good things about the owners. The rooms are dated but very well kept and clean. The only problem is that our bed was uncomfortable and the pillows need replaced. They offered a light continental breakfast in a dining room with big windows that had a beautiful view. I think the motel has a lot of untapped potential.

As noted in other reviews, that the SInging Sands Inn is a bit dated is obvious as soon as one walks through the front door. However, this characteristic is reflective as well of the "old-time" personal service that made it one of the highlights of our tip-to-tip cycling tour of PEI. We had 2 rooms, both on the second floor... More

Minutes away from Basin Head Beach. We really wanted to stay close to the beach and we lucked out with accommodations, when we dropped into the Singing Sands Inn (previously a place where tuna fishers stayed back in the day!) Greeted by Don a fellow Torontonian! We got a room on the ground floor. They had clean rooms (2 double... More

We were fortunate to stay at this Inn on a recent weekend getaway and I cannot say enough about the great service at this motel. The accommodations may be showing their age, but this is easily overcome by the kindness and the care taken by the innkeepers. All requests were accommodated and they even set up breakfast early on the... More

Very close to a great beach. I was expecting better from the reviews on here. The room was very dated, but clean. The tap in the tub dripped constantly. The worst part was the musty smell in the room, maybe a dehumidifier would have helped. The breakfast was adequate. We would have loved to swim in the pool it looked... More

July, 2013, gave us more than the usual amount of rain and high humidity. That was a downer for some of our guests on the lower level where the coolness is often appreciated on hot days. We do have dehumidifiers and would have provided one if asked. The pool is an outdoor pool and, like the grass labyrinth, is on... More

We stayed for 1 night in this small Inn. The Inn is literally a 5 min walk or 1 min drive from the famous Singing Sands/Basin Head Beach. Great location if you love going to the beach. The owners are also very nice folks and are happy to help with any questions. Only downside is that the walls are very... More

Quaint, clean & minutes from beautiful Basin Head Singing Sands beach. Good value, pleasant hosts, homemade muffins for breakfast!!!! And a nice pool. The beach goes on for miles & at times appears deserted - maybe the best beach in Canada.

We stayed there on our trip out east for a night and although it was like a time machine back to the 1960s - 1970s the owners were extremely nice and the room was comfortable - no problems at all. I had to take pictures of the PINK bathroom fixtures! Very close to the singing sands beach (highly recommended) and... More

A bit of an older place, but the rooms are comfortable and the hosts were as nice as could be. Lovely with with nice gardens and hummingbird feeders all around. Very close to Basin Head provincial park and the singing sands beach.
