The brachois inn is a beautiful B and B on the green gable shore of PEI. The whole setting is beautiful! My room was super clean, well kept and equipped with everything I could have possibly needed. The innkeeper is a lovely lady who is also very knowledgeable of Canada's history. Breakfast was great! Definite 100% recommendation!!

We stayed at the Barachois Inn over the August long weekend and had an excellent stay. Judy, the Innkeeper, is very friendly and welcoming. She recommended a great restaurant (Blue Mussel Café) for our first night and we were pleased she did. The Inn provides day passes to the National Parks and also has towels for the beach. Breakfast is... More

We stayed for 2 nights at The Barachois Inn for our 5 year anniversary trip to the east coast. Upon arrival, the innkeepers were friendly and welcoming. They showed us to our room (Room 7) gave a tour of the McDonald House and even went out of their way to book us dinner reservations after our long drive from Peggy's... More

Took a quick trip to Prince Edward Island and decided to stay at Barachois Inn as I had last year. When I called to reserve Innkeeper Judy remembered me which was really great. The room was well appointed as last year and the grounds were spectacular with well maintained gardens. Our purpose for travel was to bring a friend to... More

This is a beautiful B&B close to Cavendish area, beaches, and other main attractions in PEI. We stayed in the separate house, which has lots of character even though it is a newer build. Very quiet area, beautiful grounds, very clean and comfortable, and a great breakfast. Have the french toast! The owners are very friendly and helpful and will... More

We stayed in one of the upstairs suites in the guesthouse. Great bed, very spacious suite all with aircon, free wireless, fridge and nice terrace to sit in the evening...When you take a closer look, you notice that this house is in many ways a copy the old, Victorian main house. Except it is brand new! How often do you... More

Barachois is everything you want in a B&B in terms of charm, location, and quality. But what really set it apart for me was that I forgot my favorite shirt there and they mailed it to me in NYC, free of charge. Wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room on the top floor and loved the character of the building. The grounds are beautiful. When we first arrived I was worried about noise from the adjacent road, but it turned out to be very quiet and I never heard a thing in our room. The owners are friendly and helpful... More

Thank you Judy and family for taking us in after we were cancelled by the Dalvay Inn, caring for us, upgrading us to a suite which was a blessing, for being helpful and informative, to name a few. It was such a pleasure meeting you!! Our suite was a dream come true, something we have never had. Here we were... More

Our travel books were a little inaccurate about this Inn's location. Luckily, a woman at a local gas station remember this place and pointed up the road to its location (we were just wandering the island with no advance reservations which you can do in September). I enjoyed the personality of Mr. McDonald. We stayed in the adjoining building upstairs... More
