This venue is both an overnight Inn, and a music/entertainment venue. They do serve dinner, but only on nights when they have a performer. I have never stayed there, so my review is for the dinner and entertainment aspect. My wife and I have now been there a handful of times and thoroughly enjoyed every time! We have seen a... More

Great entertainment, great service, very old rustic charm, they have a awesome sound system, we had a nice evening, a full house, we didn't have supper but the deserts look very good, will have to try them on our next visit!!!!

Made a Sandwich after $$$ and 1 waitress/cashier/server of food/liquor. This building interior is well beyond rustic, table was sticky and no clearer after request to have wiped. Waited more than 10 minutes at cashier location while the bartender said over and over while standing .......... You have to wait for that lady. As she seated people, took orders, served... More

We were very disappointed in the food, the waitress (co-owner)?, and the atmosphere. It was a very hot night when we were there - the food was cold and the building was hot - no airconditioning. That is not a good combination. The waitress was anything but pleasant and there appeared to be one waitress for the entire restaurant. First... More

We had a beautiful meal and a great show by Catherine MacLellan tonight! The food was excellent with pretty good service ! Fresh local vegetables added to the flavor of a real meal. The only pitfall was it was extremely hot inside. Word was a new air conditioner is coming ! Such a quaint island experience.

The Trailside Inn has a restaurant, accommodation and is also music venue situated right next to the Confederation Trail and close to the PEI National Park at Greenwich. The owners are a lovely couple - very friendly and helpful. The Trailside Inn is a quaint old building in Mount Stewart. Lovely countryside nearby. Ideal for people on the Confederation Trail.... Authentic Island restaurant experience. Went for brunch and enjoyed a great breakfast while being seranaded with jolly island music and storytelling. May look like a little hole in the wall but it's fantastic and a must go! Great way to spend a Sunday morning! Going back for more this year and can't wait.

We found the Trailside because we want to bike a section of the Confederation Trail. There is a an Interpretive Center across the street from the Trailside where we parked our car and accessed the trail. The menu looked interested and the place was featuring live music the following night so we made a point of returning to check it... More

Something like 11 years after my last attempt to go to a gig in the Trailside---cancelled due to me getting lost in Charlottetown---I finally made it tonight, with my wife, a fellow lover of good live music. We saw it on the road and I thought this could not be the place--it looks quite old and decrepit from the outside... More
