If you are looking for a place to stay a night and don't want to break the bank I suggest the bed and breakfast. We had a small room but it was good enough for two of us. It was a little noisy in the morning as the walls are pretty thin. However it was comfortable and the staff were... More

The good thing was the lady at the desk was really nice, good package ie food at restaurante and anne stuff and was close to the Anne stuff. Bad it was really small, all outlets were used, and walls are like paper. Heard the tv from acrossed the hall, could he the roommates next to us come up the stairs,... More

Our family of four spent a fun day at Shining Waters. Admission is very reasonable for the size of the water park and number of attractions. The water park is the best part of the place. There are slides and pools for everyone from babies to seniors. The rest of the park is fairly dated, but still fun, if for... More

Location - is the best part of this place. Just a couple minutes' drive to the gorgeous Cavendish beach but why pay $20 for parking when there's a path that starts across the street from the cottage that takes you there in 10 min. 15 min if you want the white sand beach. Cottage - our 2 families consisting of... More

The only good thing about this place was the common area being gorgeous and the staff being supremely accommodating. The stairs are steep & narrow. The floors slant both frontward and backwards. The room (15) we were in was smaller than a bachelor apartment and horrible for claustrophobia & anxiety. To make thing worse, there were clothes from the last... More

Had a positive experience at this resort. Staff were very friendly, grounds well kept and cottages very clean. It is centrally located and close to all attractions. An added bonus was complimentary park passes to the beach. Beautiful running trail steps from the door takes you past all the lobster boats out on the water as you run. Would def... More

We visited in July with two kids - 7 and 9 years old. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Free passes to Anne's house tour and national park. The cottage was clean and had all we need for our two night stay. We used the pool and laundry facilities. There was a great porch with swing. The wifi was spotty... More

We recently stayed at Shining Waters Inn ( 9-11-13 to 9-14-13) and found it to be absolutely charming! Our room was wonderful with a sitting room, bedroom and bath and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a "Land of Anne" package which included our accommodations, $50 gift certificate for dinner at Rachel's, and vouchers for... More

Our cottage had everything we needed, and those little things extra were not a problem for the very friendly staff. We always have a great time at these cottages and recommend them thoroughly. The cottage was clean, plenty of towels. I appreciated the small container of hand lotion. And I will repeat the staff is very friendly. Thanks for summer... More

This is a great place for families and although we are a couple of elderly ladies we still enjoyed the accommodations. There were a few problems with the air conditioner but fortunately we didn't need it much. The place was very clean, however the fan in the bathroom was too loud. I would definately like to come here if I... More
