We were met with freshly baked cookies and lemonade. The breakfasts were delicious. Our room and bath was small but comfortable and unique. The hosts helped us find the most wonderful things to do, but it was also a great place to just relax on the patio and gaze at the glorious gardens or visit with our hostess and the... more

Our three night stay could not have been better - hospitality extraordinaire from Brenda and Edgar in their lovely inn surrounded by gardens and paths in the most serene of settings. (I suggest the very short walk to the bridge on the bordering Confederation Trail for birdwatching and especially sunset viewing - stunning!) I highly recommend a stay at the... more

Brenda and Edgar are great, experienced B&B hosts and it shows! From the lemonade and cookies upon arrival to the final goodbye we felt welcomed. This B&B is in a great location, has absolutely beautiful grounds and gardens, and is very well maintained, cared for and obviously loved. It can be easily reached by road or by bicycle off the... more

Of our trip to the East Coast this was one of the nicest B&B's that we stayed at. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and you felt that you were part of the family. Beautiful historic home on PEI and the rooms and gardens were wonderful. more

Staying at Roseneath was like a mini world tour/literary haven/old world hospitality mecca that all who visit the island must experience. Its like they do this as a 'calling' or something! The bike trip to town on the old railway site was really neat, and our only regret was that we did not book in more nights with them and... more

While on a brief trip to PEI, Canada, we found this B&B that was open at an off season for PEI. It turned out to be a wonderful place for us. The operator was friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained, clean with a firm bed, the Dewars garden looks like it would be worth a stop in season... more

This is a fantastic place to stay. Upon our arrival we were served tea and short breads. Very friendly interesting hosts. The grounds are really beautiful and well maintained. There are flowers everywhere you look. The breakfast was fruit and eggs benedict. Tasty! There is a trail leading along the river to Montague. Roseneath supplied us with Trek bicycles to... more
