My family stays at The North Winds at least a couple times a year, as my sister lives just down the road and it's very convenient. We have no complaints and the rooms are great and service is just as wonderful. This time was different...I can't express the generosity and friendliness that this hotel has from the owners. My mom,... More

This hotel is exceptional. The clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff and excellent location make this a gem here on Prince Edward Island. It is evident that the owners take great pride in providing quality service and maintaining their property. We stayed in a suite and it was great!! The rooms were up-to-date and the bed was very comfortable.... More

I stayed here as a part of a group with Caravan tours. Homey inn with good breakfast. Rooms are dated but comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Wine for purchase was available in the room and it was good! It was also very quiet.

Jetted tub, king size comfy bed, fireplace, location, friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean and quiet - we enjoyed it all. There were more amenities we didn't try: pool and hot tub, gym, track with outdoor exercise stations and coin laundry. This would be a good base for a week's stay.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Perfect location. Close to the beach but also not too long drive to visit relatives who live in Summerside. Place was quiet, comfortable, roomy and clean. Nothing fancy but who needs fancy? Owners were welcoming and helpful. Also great that the stay included the pass into the beach!

We stayed here for two nights during a recent visit to PEI and have nothing but positive comments to say about this place. The owner is a very friendly gentleman who is more than available to ensure your stay at their place is a memorable one. The room was large, clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable and had plenty... Hotel and rooms were dated but made up by hospitality of owners, Murray and Janice, who were most welcoming. Very nice breakfast, clean basic rooms and a "mom and pop" welcoming atmosphere. Good location in Brackley Bay.

We stayed here at the North Winds while on a Caravan Cruise of the Maritime area. It was our first stay of the trip. A very nice, clean place. Owners very nice, cordial. Breakfast was provided (continental style).

Truly a beautiful area. If at all possible walk to the Brackley Beach community center just around the corner for a ceilidh. The best fiddling. Hotel is clean and nice, surprisingly large rooms and staff is pleasant. Nice property with walking path.

Looks like a typical American motel but has a sprawling property in a tranquil setting. The property has multiple front entry units in several buildings. Units are incredibly clean, and suitably furnished. Breakfast buffet is standard hotel fare but very good nonetheless. Family owned and operated - they are doing a good job. There is also a restaurant next door.
