I am loving the time we are having here. With the three bedrooms and one with an on suite makes it a wonderful place for our time here. Perfect place with lots of room so were not on top of each other. We will be coming back. We are more then happy with the cabin.

Our group stayed at 4 cottages at Shaw's and they were quite adequate. There is quite a difference between the newer and older places, so I would make a point of booking a new one. All of the places we saw have the basic amenities covered with a nice functional kitchen, living room and bedrooms. In mid-October it is pretty... More

shaw's is a lovely old establishment of 20 or so cottages and a main hotel. it has bikes available for rent and many miles of trails to ride. the property borders the prince Edward island national park which has many miles of dedicated biking lanes. there are kayaks and canoes available, gratis, for use in the bordering lake. the cottages... I'm recommending Shaw's Hotel and Cottages to everyone I know. The restaurant offers delicious dining with an amazing view. Each of the cottages on the property have their own beautiful view of the shoreline. It's impossible to get a bad photograph at Shaw's. One of Shaw's greatest assets is it's always friendly staff. Some cottages are more modern than others,... More

Spent 4 nights at this historic hotel in late August 2015. We had a very small room on the 3rd floor of the main Inn. Clean but very basic: old bulging wall to wall carpet, portable air conditioning unit in the middle of the room, etc. Breakfast was Ok in terms of quality but service (by pleasant students but with... This place is hallowed tradition... started in 1860 and still the same family runs the inn... yes, there are modern cottages, but it is the hotel that brings out the deep experience. The meals are outstanding... breakfast every day starts you off right... I like to walk to the beach early and catch the calm water for a dip... it... More

I stayed there for four nights in the second week of August and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was in a small, two bedroom upstairs suite in the Inn. It was very vintage and simple, like an old farm house, but clean, very comfortable and relaxing. The meals were really good (breakfast & dinner) and the staff were friendly and very... More

I must say, the buzz going around about the food scene at Shaw's Hotel around town had me interested in checking it out. My family and I went for a special anniversary and were pleasantly surprised! Everything from the amuse to the last bite of dessert had me impressed.

Enjoyed our stay at Shaws, rooms were old fashioned but clean and comfy, staff was friendly, food was great and the area is nice and quiet. The short walk to the beach was no problem but do prepare for the mosquitos! Be sure to visit the Dunes Gallery, amazing art, gardens and architecture. Loved our trip, would def return to... More

Our visit to the 2-bedroom cottage was relaxing and enjoyable. The mosquitoes were out in a frenzy but if you timed sitting out properly you could enjoy the evening air. Wifi was sparse but it made for a true vacation by disconnecting. For the cost its worth it except I don't think they should charge for the Park Pass ($3/day)... More
