this place is a gem and worth visiting if you are heading to PEI. Chef Michael Smith and his wife Chastity have taken every corner of the place in its first summer and created a uniquely warm environment for their guests that features fresh local fare for exceptional family style served meals in their open hearth fireworks kitchen. Bravo to... More

My wife and I stayed in the premium top suite and it was amazing. The staff was great, the food incredible and accommodations excellent! We had an amazing last weekend! We had salt crusted halibut, strip loin, great salad, etc.. I felt like we were at King Arthur's' feast! We met so many nice people!

We were there late in the season, Oct 23-25 but despite the cooler weather it was an amazing experience. We went with high expectations and were not disappointed. It started with a room upgrade, who doesn't like that! The room was quaint, very clean and had a comfy bed all befitting the Inn. We heard they are upgrading some rooms,... More

I stayed here for two nights from October 16 - 18th. We stayed in the room called North Tower 2. The room was spacious, has a high ceiling and has a lot of Windows. The negatives...our room looked like it was last renovated and decorated in 1980. (Except for the dresser, that was nice). I know that it will take... More

HI there, Thank you for your review. I know that the room you stayed in, North Tower 2 is in need of major updates. The last update was in 1990. When we purchased the inn this past April, our focus was on building our new restaurant, FireWorks. It was also important that we get one year under our belts in... More

Sorry this is delayed but work keeps me travelling all the time. I went to The Inn at Bay Fortune this summer in August for one night to experience the "Fireworks Feast" dinner. I arrived to a lovely room (historic north tower - least expensive room for one person) and small touches that were lovely. Card and key on my... More

Michael Smith and his wife have surely stepped up the culinary scene on PEI. They only opened up in May but I can see it being a hard place to get a reservation next year. We stayed in the tower, which gives you a breathtaking view. The staff is fantastic, you eat family style right in front of the open... More

We stayed at the inn at bay fortune for 3 days during a fishing trip to PEI, the place is very nice, neat and clean with a rustic interior. The staff were great but don't expect to see chef Micheal as he is not always there. The rooms were comfortable but no mini bar or bottled water. The food was... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Bay Fortune for one night and joined other guests at the farmers table for the feast. My sister and I visited for a one night stay at the Inn and also partook in 'The Feast'. Our room was on the main level and was beautiful. We were lucky enough to also have our own screened in porch. Upon changing their 'overnight guests only' dining guideline, we were welcomed as 'day guests' for the fire cooked breakfast. Host/server Louise made our welcome feel seamless as we sat at the long rustic dining table with the overnighters.
