We were thankful for finding an accommodation a month in advance for three nights and the kind woman at the front, Angie, made it happen. Arrival and check in were easy and the main floor room was spacious and comfortable overall. The bathroom was a highlight for sure, as was the comfortable seating on the front porch. Unfortunately, the temperature... More

This was easily the best place we stayed in Canada. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully decorated, and there's good parking out front. Everything is within walking distance, including some really great cafes and restaurants. I'm sure it would be a great place to explore Prince Edward County, though we only booked it as an overnight. One small issue... More

We stayed there for 2 days and had a wonderful and relaxing time within newsroom suites. Especially the huge & stylish bathroom invites you to spend ages inside;) The owner of the hotel is very simpatico & always open for questions or tips you may have to make your holidays wonderful.

We found the service excellent, the staff was friendly, very helpful, the room spotless, bed was comfortable. The location is most convenient, close to many good restaurants, interesting stores. We intend to recommend you to our friends in Montreal.

I feel like we lucked out in finding Newsroom Suites and that they had vacancy. It's going to become our go-to place to stay whenever we visit Prince Edward County. It's situated on the Main St. of Wellington walking distance to conveniences such as restaurants (go to East and Main!), great coffee place called Poppy cafe, artist galleries, a Foodland... More

When I booked this hotel I thought it was just that, a hotel. But it was not. I booked through Booking.com, and the pictures looked nice, with a nice outdoor area and some kind of lobby, although the picture was taken from a funny angle. I should have paid more attention to the lack of picture of the building. As... More

If you are wondering why this is called newsroom suites you just have to look behind the counter where you pick up your keys and look at a working local newspaper furiously editing to get the next edition out. Is that cool or what!!! The deluxe room itself was three separate rooms with a hallway that has a large kitchenette.... More

We loved everything about the beautifully renovated Newsroom Suites. We enjoyed the spacious 600 sq foot Suite #2 with a super comfortable King Size bed, a separate den like sitting room (we relaxed in frequently to watch a DVD, do crosswords, read, and chat) and a sweet well equipped galley kitchen including fresh coffee beans and a bodum and a... This is a neat little Inn, that was VERY recently renovated/remodelled. The theme is old style newspaper. Super clean, suite 3 the one we had, was large, airy and well laid out. Our son and his finance live in Picton ON so we said we will try this place out for fun. We found the price reasonable for the area... More

Very clean and newly renovated. The hotel is about as centrally located as you can get in downtown Wellington, in what looks like an old newspaper building. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and a couple of pubs. Our room came with a small kitchenette which could have proven useful if we had stayed for an extended period of time (the... More
