The outside of the building may look quirky, but the inside is a gem. The two rooms I have stayed in were both beautiful. A master craftsman has obviously created these unique and lovely spaces , loaded with wood accents and charming amenities. There is a nice little outside deck, and it's an easy walk to the associated restaurant( reviewed... More

Serendipity Gardens Guest House is very lovely. Everything a guest could need has been anticipated. The art work is lovely, beds are really comfortable, breakfast in a box is very good especially the muffin, and even the train which is cose by sounds romantic during the night.

What a great room, building and setting! We stayed for only one night and found the room, clean, comfortable, well appointed and just plain nice. It's a great circle tour overnight stop and great for travelers on other routes as well.

We stayed at this location in August. The outside isn't nearly as great as the inside. The cafe has amazing food and the room is perfect. We were traveling around Lake Superior and had stayed in different hotel rooms for almost a week. We moved each night. When we entered our room at Serendipity we were happy with the space... More

Use this fairly frequently when working near Rossport. Have also stayed for pleasure too. Excellent unique rooms, great food in the unique cafe (lunch and dinner), sometimes if lucky- fine live music and the beauty of the Rossport area. Supplement your breakfast box with a hot one if travelling East by stopping in the next village: Schreiber. Lots of great... More

We discovered Serendipity in 2007 and have visited virtually every year since. Mainly on trips to Thunder Bay, although we spent a few days vacation time in 2012. A quiet restful atmosphere, rooms always spotlessly clean. Looking forward to our next visit.

We travelled cross country and this was our most memorable experience. Clean, beautiful and reasonably priced. Local art on display. Cute lil pathway into a beautiful town where you can enjoy the restaurant. We had lake trout and prime rib dinners. Both were perfect. I didn't want to leave this place and will someday return.

We were cycling and needed a break from the rain and road conditions. We went into Rossport and ate at the Serendipity Gardens Cafe. During a great late lunch we discovered that they had accomodation located in a newly built wooden building close by. Our room was unusual but charming with vaulted ceilings and large windows. We had a peaceful... More

What a surprise this was! This unusual building was built by the owner and the huge second floor rooms feature hardwood cathedral ceilings with bright windows all around. I loved the artwork and colourful accents - all sunny oranges and yellows, deep maroons and eggplant. The bed was very soft and comfortable, and the spacious well-appointed bathroom made for a...
