We stayed for a couple of days and it was the rest we needed. The hosts are beautiful people. The energy in this bed and breakfast is soothing and homey and the decor is lovely. I never usually write reviews, but have to put it out there that there's nothing better than The Manse when wanting a sweet get-a-way. :)

We - my husband and I - spent two nights (a Sunday and a Monday) at The Manse on their special fall getaway programme. What an amazing bargain! Bill and Linda purchased the manse with the express purpose of making it into a b&b, and they've done a terrific job: clearly this is dear to their hearts. The room was... More

Last August was our first visit to Port Carling, and we both consider ourselves very lucky to have found The Manse online. Booking was easy, and the place is beautiful. Linda and Bill, the owners, have a great thing going here. Bill was away during the time we were there, but Linda went above and beyond, and you can see... More

We spent a weekend at The Manse while visiting the area for a family wedding. From start to finish everything about our stay was perfect. Bill and Linda went above and beyond to provide a relaxing and worry free weekend away, even providing the kids with hot wheels cars at breakfast. We stayed in the top floor suite with a... More

We recently enjoyed a weekend at the Manse while in town for a family reunion. We were welcomed by Linda and felt at home right away. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was outstanding, and the location was perfect. We parked the car and walked to everything, including the public beach. Highly recommend as a place to stay when... More

I spent 3 days here in July whilst visit my family in Port Carling as it suited my needs perfectly with regard to location and price. However I was blown away by the hospitality of the owners Bill and Linda - they made me feel like a guest in their home and made sure I had everything I needed-even letting... More

My wife and I stayed at The Manse B&B for 3 nights during the May long weekend 2014. We were made to feel at home as soon as we walked in. Part of our stay was for me to do some writing, so I needed to have a quiet place with a desk or sitting area. Also, we wanted to... More

Our first visit to Canada from UK so we decided to stay in B & Bs rather than an anonymous hotel. Struck lucky here - Bill & Linda are so welcoming, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and with many extra touches; spa baths, a foot spa in one room and I had the room with the small conservatory which... Linda & Bill have perfected the art of running a B&B! Every detail has been thought out making for an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable and we were lucky enough to have the room with the private enclosed patio overlooking the back garden which was a perfect afternoon retreat. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Hard to sum up in 200 characters or less. Bill and Linda make you feel so at home when you stay with them. Happy greetings from Lilly, Duke and little Ella started off our stay on the right foot.. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Little kitchenette is wonderful for late night snacks or drinks. We stayed 2 nights and could... More
