Comfortable, Clean and Friendly - everything you need in a motel. Joe was very helpful and even offered to make us breakfast in the morning. Good location for the Minto area. The restaurant was clearly a popular local place too.

My wife & I recently spent a night at the King Hotel in Palmerston. It appears to be family owned and operated. Very friendly. Made you feel welcome. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and clean. Had a great sleep. We were offered coffee & toast in the morning. The rate was reasonable. We would stay there again.

Joe is amazing! We checked-in after all the near-by restaurants had closed and were treated royally--including a homemade supper and glass of wine. Joe makes you feel like one of the family!
