We selected the best room for an anniversary celebration. The room was very attractive with a comfortable four poster bed and jacuzzi bath tub in the ensuite bathroom. There was an attractive outdoor terrace but it rained most of the time that we were there. Mettawas End is an interesting heritage property close to Lake Erie. The breakfasts were gourmet... More

This was a lovely start to our trip. Roland was welcoming, the room was spacious, and the three-course breakfast was superb. Best of all was the bathroom--I caught a glimpse of myself showering (thanks to a wonderful full-length mirror), and for a myopic woman of a certain age it was heartening to see a French Impressionist version of myself on... Recently spent three nights at the Mettawas End B&B with Roland as our very gracious host. We stayed in the "Walker" room which has a very nice private rooftop garden with a view of the lake. The only mild complaint would be that the chairs weren't very comfortable. The Queen size bed on the other hand, was very comfortable and... More

This is just a wonderful place! Beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, very relaxing. The breakfast was unbelievably good. You can't go wrong here. It doesn't cost anymore than a chain hotel and the atmosphere, breakfast and Roland make it all worth wild!!!

We stayed here for a weekend recently and have mixed reviews. The breakfast are sensational, no complaints there. However, the rooms are very hot at night, and the bed was so soft we rolled back and forth on it. Regretably it ended badly with a dispute over foreign exchange when the owner cashed my check for Canadian money in US... More

This is a very comfortable, well-appointed, intimate B&B that is located right down the street from the Pelee Island ferry. Roland is the consummate host and as others have said, his breakfasts are amazingly delicious and beautifully presented. His suggestions about where to eat and what to do were excellent and he also had bicycles available for our use. This... More

Wonderful place, relaxing and quiet, lovely rooms and garden. Robert is a wonderful person who pleased us very much during three days we stayed. The breakfast - a four course menu differing every day to our surprise - was the best we ever experienced. Eddi from Offenbach, germany

My two cousins and I went to Kingsville in May and just loved this place. Beautiful gardens surround home, summer wrap around enclosed porch, cozy fireplace for cooler weather, guest rooms very charming and welcoming. Our room had a rooftop garden off of it. Private bath with soaker tub and separate shower. Towel warming bars. Fridge in closet. We were... More

We stayed at the Mettawas B&B this past weekend, and I must say I would go back again and again! Every detail has been thought of. We stayed in the Walker room, which has it's own ensuite bath and jacuzzi tub. There were so many little extra touches. The bathroom even had a rack to warm the towels. The bed... More
