Our 2 night stay at Mettawas End was perfect. After arriving on Friday afternoon and being welcomed by Roland, we walked to the Mettawas Station for dinner then spent our first evening just walking around Kingsville. Such great number of historical properties in this quiet small town. The following mornings my wife and I have never had such gourmet prepared... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay. We were birdwatching in Point Pelee National Park, and Kingsville is very close. Our host, Roland served us a gourmet breakfast each day, and was willing to adjust to our time schedule. We felt very comfortable.

An excellent B&B just across from Lake Erie with beautiful gardens and amazing breakfast, which Roland happily served at 6:30am so that we could start our birding early. It's about a 25 minute drive to Point Pelee and the area is quaint with plenty of restaurants. Roland is a gracious and humble host, very hospitable. Gourmet chef. The house itself... More

This beautiful bed and breakfast is among one of the best kept secrets in the area. We stayed in the Walker Room when we were spending the weekend in kingsville for a weekend of wine tours to celebrate my husband's birthday. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home is beautiful. The room is incredible.... More

We selected the best room for an anniversary celebration. The room was very attractive with a comfortable four poster bed and jacuzzi bath tub in the ensuite bathroom. There was an attractive outdoor terrace but it rained most of the time that we were there. Mettawas End is an interesting heritage property close to Lake Erie. The breakfasts were gourmet... More

This was a lovely start to our trip. Roland was welcoming, the room was spacious, and the three-course breakfast was superb. Best of all was the bathroom--I caught a glimpse of myself showering (thanks to a wonderful full-length mirror), and for a myopic woman of a certain age it was heartening to see a French Impressionist version of myself on... Recently spent three nights at the Mettawas End B&B with Roland as our very gracious host. We stayed in the "Walker" room which has a very nice private rooftop garden with a view of the lake. The only mild complaint would be that the chairs weren't very comfortable. The Queen size bed on the other hand, was very comfortable and... More

This is just a wonderful place! Beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, very relaxing. The breakfast was unbelievably good. You can't go wrong here. It doesn't cost anymore than a chain hotel and the atmosphere, breakfast and Roland make it all worth wild!!!

We stayed here for a weekend recently and have mixed reviews. The breakfast are sensational, no complaints there. However, the rooms are very hot at night, and the bed was so soft we rolled back and forth on it. Regretably it ended badly with a dispute over foreign exchange when the owner cashed my check for Canadian money in US... More

I am sorry a nice visit ended by a dispute but I must say it started by an unexpected last minute cancellation - costing me $280 - for which I haven't yet get any kind of apology, and while lbaskin had the opportunity to get the exact canadian fare at a close bay bank, he prefered to write "canadian dollars"...
