We stayed at the Little Inn for 2 nights in August. This is our second time visiting so it's a good sign that we came back. We stayed in the cottage area. Great that they accommodate pets for our two dogs. They provided potty bags, a blanket, wipe towel and placemat (for bowls). The staff is very friendly and helpful.... More

Bayfield is a lovely, lazy, up scale town, on the shores of Lake Huron. The perfect place for long walks, reading, good restaurants, and of course, wine. The Little Inn is gorgeous and un hindered by having to move with the times, and offer every usual modern convenience that would only serve to clutter up the steeped in time, quaint... More

We stayed in the Cottage area of the Inn, had our own private entrance which we used all the time, highly recommended, very quite and clean. Yes I can see how some people have said it is dated but, I think that its part of the charm Plus, we were only in the room to sleep. My main concern is... More

On the spur of the moment went back to our favourite Inn in Ontario for the umpteenth time. Darren, the Inn Keeper, always as jovial and friendly, as ever. There have been a number of staff changes which we understand . We shall just have to get used to a new set of faces. Service was fine both but oh... More

Having done my research in advance, I knew the rooms at the Inn were more dated in style, it was last renovated in the 1980s. This would usually deter me from choosing to stay here, but if you're a person who prefers more updated style, don't let that deter you if you like a great location, great food and great... More

My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet weekend away at the beach with a bit of luxury. The Little Inn's reputation and its purported "CAA Four Diamond Award" status suggested that we'd be treated to comfort, luxury, and charm. We enjoyed none of these things. Although the staff were pleasant, and the room was very clean (shockingly clean, compared to... More

Have stayed here over the years and went back for a special birthday. Hotel is clean friendly and historic. Carriage room was very nice but starting to need a freshening up. No tub just shower. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and included in our room cost. Service was great. Very quiet.Free to roam the homey Inn. Pricey... More

We had stayed here two years prior & were hoping to have another equally positive experience, and we were not disappointed. The room was clean and neat, the staff very friendly. The (included) breakfast the following morning was a lovely way to start the day. We will definitely make this a regular trip.

We were doing a 'friends and family' tour of Southern Ontario, and we wanted to get away for a short respite from the tour itinerary, so we headed for the shores of Lake Huron for a night, and we found the Little Inn by good fortune. In the morning when we were thinking about leaving, and planning our route for... More

Make sure you stay at The Little Inn when visiting the quaint Ontario village of Bayfield located on the shores of Ontario's west coast. The Inn dates from the 1800's and is comfy and relaxing....service in the restaurant is friendly and attentive and the menu is excellent. Ask for the Widow's Walk room in the main inn, a romantic suite... More
