Stayed here for a couple nights and have nothing bad to say. It was clean, comfortable and had a very pleasant and helpful staff. Inuvik is not overly large and you are able to walk to the main business area within 10 minutes.

The staff was great, more choices for breakfast. Also located far from noises. John the was very nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel everyone travelling to Inuvik for one night or more. Everything is at walking distance. Rooms are clean and also flexible on check outs

we arrived in inuvik a day early due to rainy weather on the dempster highway. this was the only place with a room available. staff was nice but sort of clueless i think part of the hotel is actually apartments the room was adequate and clean, tho overall the hotel was run-down, needs TLC the wifi was useless until we... We stayed here for 4 days in the summer. The rooms were clean; the staff friendly. It had reasonably fast free wifi. We got breakfast of sorts with the room: toast or bagel cereal, OJ and coffee. The cereal is basically out there all the time so eat when you want. You have to walk to town center (or the... More

The good experience started when I got off of my motorcycle after 500 miles of gravel and met the desk clerk. He set me up with a great rate on an excellent room, which I did not expect. He went on to point me towards Alestine's restaurant, on of the better eating experiences of my trip. He also filled me... More

What can you say? After spending hours on the Dempster Highway, arriving to Inuvik and checking into the Nova Inn is like finding an oasis in the desert. It isn't a terrible hotel and I would argue that it competes with any discount hotel chain normally found in more populated places such as Super 8 or Days Inn. I have... More

Pleasant reception staff, good air conditioning, comfortable beds, continental breakfast - basic needs met. A good, healthy walk to town (perhaps 2km) so the location might not suit everyone. No in-house restaurant thus a walk or drive is required to head out for dinner. Our shower curtain rod didn't work well and it was repaired within hours. The Nova is... More

I realize that this is a remote area, but this place is well built, has spacious rooms, but lacks maintenance We accepted a room with a broken lock because it was the only clean one they had. This meant having a staff member open the door each time. After check in it became difficult getting back in room and one... More

Although this hotel was booked as part of a tour, so I didn't have a choice (as to my accommodation), I was more than pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the hotel. The rooms were great and really, all you need when you travel is a good shower and a comfy bed! When I had any issues all I... More

Okay, I'll be honest, I though a hotel in Inuvik would be a shack, but this hotel was great. We all got single rooms after a couple of days of rough camping, so a roof over our head would have sufficed, but we were all pleasantly surprised by the luxury of this hotel. Great shower, very comfy bed, close to... More
