We stayed at this motel due to it's proximity to the event that we attending in Mabou during the Celtic Colours Festival on Cape Breton Island in October. The location is central when traveling the Cabot Trail and it is within driving distance to some of the smaller towns nearby. The rooms are clean, the internet access satisfactory, and the... More

Stopped in early evening and asked for room with little chance of being disturbed since we were so tired from driving. Staff put us in room next to check in and laundry instead of end of building, which had rooms available. Staff and others used the bench outside our room to chat and smoke till 9:00PM. Room was clean. Staff... More

This little motel is a great value for the money! The rooms are immaculate, walls are painted white which to us shows the cleanliness, beds are very comfortable.. Host is very informative and has a great personality. The maid does a fantastic job and as well is very friendly. Great location to stay at if you are doing the Cabot... More

This motel is clean, comfortable and reasonable priced. Management is very friendly and helpful. It is close to the Cabot Trail. There were plenty of parking directly in front of your room door. We had free Wi-Fi, table and chairs microwave and fridge. For some reason our gps had problems picking up the location. The only thing is the bathroom... More

We were looking for a home base for our trip around the Cabot Trail. This motel had wonderful staff clean rooms and great location. The price was very reasonable and they recommended restaurants in the area. Charlene's Restaurant down the street had the best fish chowder.

I recently stayed here and the room was spotless, accommodations more than adequate with fridge, coffepot and microwave. The owner, Beatrice was both charming and oh so accommodating. Great value for the money!

Clean, clean, clean! This was one of our favorite stops. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the hot water nice hot, there is also a laundry room available, at a very reasonable cost. We had no issues with the dryer drying as one of the other reviewers did. Our clothes dried with no problem. The owner is so nice, I... More

Cheap, clean and just on the Cabot Trail with access to the Bras 'D Or lake across the highway. Friendly owner. Only negative was the issue with shower temperature if anyone else uses water - also the dryer machine doesn't dry.

The rooms are very clean. One nice thing about the room was lighting on both sides of the bed. The highway is a little noisy but not enough to be a problem to sleep. The owner is very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fairly priced and clean room.
