Aberdeen Motel is a good value for the price. Also, very, very clean and location is easy access to hwy 105. Rooms are spacious and bath is well stocked.....towels, soap and shampoo. Beatrice, owner, is personable and willing to assist with needed information on restaurants and travel. Motel is older property with park in front of room type arrangement. You... More

I stayed for four nights at the end of August, I also stayed for two nights in 2013. The motel is clean, housekeeping service is great, location is also handy, midway between the causeway and Baddeck. Wifi worked well, mini fridge and microwave useful, and personal coffee maker made mornings comfortable. The owner is very pleasant. The Aberdeen is a... More

- Rooms were very clean and spacious - quiet - Customer service from Beatrice, was Fantastic. I lost my credit card and license. I thought I had dropped it somewhere during the trip. Days later, I got a call from Beatrice. She called me to say she found it. She wrapped it and mailed it back to ME. Thanks Beatrice.... More

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Aberdeen Motel. My room was in excellent condition, very clean and spacious with plenty of space to eat or work (or in my case, spread out gear). Actually, this motel was the only place I stayed on my trip that did NOT have any leaky faucets or other problems. It is beautifully... More

What a relief to have found this great motel after our experience at The Fair Isle which I have already reviewed. We received a lovely welcome from Beatrice, a Swiss woman, who not only owns the hotel but looks after all the rooms personally so that you are guaranteed impeccable accommodation. We loved having a fridge and microwave and plenty... More

The owner is friendly and the room was a good size. We were worried about the quality of places to stay in the Cape Breton area based on reviews and our own experiences. People are allowed to smoke just outside the doors, so whenever someone is smoking, there will be smoke in the room. The night we stayed, there were... More

We stayed here two nights as our base to explore the Cabot Trail. It is in a great location just minutes to a couple of restaurants. It is incredibly clean. The owner is very nice and friendly and incredibly helpful. The laundry room was a plus and the rooms are also very comfortable. We would recommend a stay here.

We stayed here as a base camp for the Cabot Trail. We also visited Sydney and Baddeck. It is in a great location just minutes to a couple of restaurants. It is beyond clean, while not new it is as clean as can be. One morning we lost the remote control for the tv, I dreaded looking under the bed... More

I don't like staying in roadside motels...they creep me out. But I have to say this one was great. Clean..super clean, friendly, quiet ( with a trickling brook next to it) and safe. I was impressed. It's a motel but every detail was taken care of. Great stop before entering Cape Breton. Do not stay in Port Hasting motels. We... More
