Mersey River Chalets and Nature Retreat -- it's a beautiful spot. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms, but when we come back, we may try one of the tee-pee accommodations (or one of the chalets if we bring the family.) We stayed at Mersey River Chalets for 3 nights in July 2007. We stayed in a lodge room which we assumed from the condition of them were new this season however, having read another review that someone stayed in these last year it seems they are not. We spend several days at the Mersey River Chalets and this place was on of the highlights of our Nova Scotia vacation. The kids loved the lake with kajaks and canoes free to use. As a lover of the woods and nature , I expected to be pleased with the Mersey River Chalets .
