My room was huge with a vaulted ceiling. It was absolutely spotless, there was a big tv and a fridge and a coffeemaker. The A&W is 3 minutes away and it is right across the roundabout to the tourist office and gift shop. The noise in the hallway in the morning was annoying, starting around 6 am and in the... More

Wasn't great, wasn't awful. For the budget conscious traveler, there's nothing wrong with this one. My wife wasn't thrilled about it, but we were just passing through and for a relatively comfy bed in a cleanish room for a decent price.

We generally do a bit of research and book hotels in advance, but last night we got caught. The only spot we could find for the 3 of us in our party was the Causeway MOT L. We should have taken a clue from the burned out sign and just kept on going. 2 double beds, both sagging in the... More

We stayed here on August 9, 2011. The place is a wreck, totally unkept and unmaintaned. Rates were reasonable, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would not go back!

As in the other reviews, this motel is NOT as advertised: no restaurant, no lounge, not even a continental breakfast and no internet. The inside walls were chipped and pealing and the outside was worse. Pealing paint , a rusty sign, missing siding and a badly cracked parking lot gave the overall appearance of extreme lack of attention by the... More

This place is a dive. When we arrived for checkin the desk girl was in tears because her last checkin had yelled at he. "Par for the course here," she told us. Just about everything about the outside and inside is unkempt, old and dirty. Walls are paper thin so all the noise from other rooms comes in loud and... More

Worst place ever! What they promise on their web page does not match reality. . When I arrived, I hesitated, because the motel looked unkempt. However, I was tired, looked for a good meal, and rest. After checking in, I asked about dinner times. I was told dining was not available. My options were either crossing the very busy, very... More
