We just stayed in The Maple Inn for one night, I wish it was more. The house is immaculate & tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Free Mason room. Large & comfortable with an amazing shower! Keurig coffee & pastry were set out for us. The breakfast was delicious with several choices. Beautifully served as well. The host was very... More

We had the pleasure of spending only one night at the Maple Inn. The room was beautifully decorated in a Victorian Black Velvet theme. The hosts were a delightful couple from Austria. The wife acted as hostess and the husband was the chef and gardener. We would love to return one day and spend more time there.

A real home from home for our surprise visit to meet our new grandson. Johannes and Uli made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Freemason Room was just as elegant as it appeared on the website with a well appointed bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. Johannes is a great cook who supplements his breakfast menu with... We were drawn to this inn based on the photos on their website, and the house is beautiful. They have private parking at the side of the house, and the hours when the innkeeper is available seem good compared to the norm for Nova Scotia. I believe that check in is by 9pm, but you can still ring the bell... More

Lovely Inn , close to beaches and local restaurants...stayed in Tower Suite...spa tub, comfy beds, lots of narrow stairs that could be an issue for some travelers...Fabulous breakfast with choices to meet any needs...real maple syrup with pancakes and local blueberries!...Hostess gracious and very helpful..

The marvelous atmosphere and friendly hosts gave my wife and me a chance to see why down-home Nova Scotia is such a magnet for travellers. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast outstanding! We have stayed at many B&Bs in eastern Canada, and this visit was clearly our best B&B experience to date. The owners of... More

My husband and I trekked to Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, Canada to see the Bay of Fundy. It was a fun trip and we stayed at The Maple Inn. Johann an Hoolie were gracious hosts, the home cooked breakfasts were lovely and the location was good. Our accommodation had no on suite bathroom and is in need of some freshening up.... More

We enjoyed this B & B very much. It is a beautifully restored 1893 house with very interesting history. Click on their link to read about it. The Inn was spotless. It is smoke free and pet free. The owners, Ulrike and Johannes, who hail from Austria, put a lot of love, time and resources into restoring the property. Many... More

Parrsboro offers a central location for various local activities and attractions -- the Joggins fossil museum being the most famous but not the only point of interest. During the summer, "Ships Company Theatre presents numerous high-qualtiy theatre presentations. (The Inn is a short walk from the theatre.) The Maple Inn is a restored Victorian House that offers "country luxury". From... More

Very comfortable, well-furnished and private accommodations in a quiet part of town. Friendly, helpful owner, and a delicious hot breakfast. We don't normally stay in B&B's, but we're glad we found this one - certainly the best we've ever encountered.
