Took a chance on the Buttercup Room. It is in the front of the house with 2 single beds. We had been travelling a long time and the homey atmosphere allowed us to really get some good sleep. Breakfast (French Toast with Blueberries were delicious). I heard from another guest that white toast (served with eggs) was amazing. Owner was... More

We stayed one night at The Maple Inn while on a bike trip. The owner was memorably kind and gracious--the perfect hostess for a B&B. The breakfast was great--poached egg special on english muffin w/ avocado. We stayed in the Tower Suite, which had 2 bathrooms (one with tub, one with shower) and 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed,... We spent one night at the Maple Inn during our driving trip around Nova Scotia. We stayed in the Delivery Room as we booked at the last minute and that was available. The room was a bit small but was well-fitted out with queen bed, tv and ceiling fan. En suite bathroom was quite fine with plenty of towels. The... More

I have a family of six people and The Maple Inn was perfect for us as they have an upper suite that felt like an apartment, it was so comfortable for us. We had two lovely bathrooms, and the wifi was great. The breakfast was great, the hostess was great, and I really enjoyed my stay.

Agree with other reviewers that this is an outstanding B&B. The hostess was the key to making us feel as special guests but everything about this place is great. Large very comfortable room with sitting area and adjoining large bathroom. Very good queen-size bed. They have beautifully restored & joined into a single unit 2 historic houses in such a... More

This is a beautiful property and I had a lovely stay there. It really felt like I was a very welcome guest in a private home. The host was so friendly and a great source of information about the local area. I stayed in the room without an ensuite bathroom. However I did have a bathroom that was for my... More

Our vacation a three night stay at the Maple Inn has been a wonderful, relaxing time thanks to the owners of this beautiful, historical country inn. The owner is so welcoming and friendly, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. She gave us so much friendly advice that we were never bored and there is a lot to do... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Empire Room and we were very happy with our choice. Lots of room and even tho it was a hot four days, the fans and open windows kept us very comfortable. The Breakfast Room & Lounge were both very pleasant rooms with lots of light. Breakfasts had lots of choices as well as offering... More

This B&B is so welcoming, and has a delicious breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on were to eat. This B&B has a very vintage look to it, we stayed in the tower suite which was perfect for my family of four. After we left my daughter accidentally left her purse behind. We called and they... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in June 2014. It was delightful. Beautifully furnished and lovingly cared for. Our hostess made us a wonderful breakfast every day. It is convenient to shopping in town and provincial and city parks along the coast of Nova Scotia where hiking and scenery are wonderful. It was quiet and comfortable. We... More
