The innkeepers were very friendly (they also had a very cute little puppy near the lobby). The location is just beautiful (surrounded by water, scenic coastline - although we had bad luck with the weather the next morning, because is was very foggy). Our room was very cozy and clean (Captain's Quarter) with a nice water view. It was equipped... More

We stayed 2 nights and it never really stopped raining all the time we were there. Do try and arrive in the daylight as itLs not that easy to find the way along the dirt track in the dark! They have some dogs (2 burmese mountain dogs -ones only a puppy - and a terrier - they are adorable and... More

Wonderful accommodation in a very secluded spot. Lovely sandy beach a few minutes walk away. Breakfast and dinner was first class cooked by the owners. Very friendly atmosphere. This is the place to go and completely unwind. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine is my idea of heaven!

We stayed for 2 nights in September. The Inn was full and and we had to stay in a smallish room in the main building - The Windemere - this was quite modest but reflected in the price. We moved early the next morning to Ocean Mist in the Land's End Building - this a separate block about 30 yds... More

What a wonderful place to relax and soak in the wonderful scenery. Located on the edge of Charnos Cove the hotel has well appointed rooms. Ours was located 50 yards from the main house with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The rooms was of excellent standard. Due to its location the venue I advise you to eat in. It has... More

We stayed one night and were upgraded to the MoonShell room in the separate building. Great view, nice jacuzzi, lots of space! Also very convenient they have a small restaurant with excellent food. People all very friendly. Two things we did not like are that breakfast is not included in the room price (for CAD169 breakfast should be included we... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon in 2005. We learned of the place in a travel guide and decided to check it out. Glad we did as it was the nicest place we stayed all week. We have nice memories of watching the sunrise and walking along the beach. I remember the food being very good, especially the morning coffee.... More

This owner-operated inn and restaurant is in a beautifully remote part of the Nova Scotia East coast, yet near such favorite visitor attractions as Guysborough and Sherbrooke Village. The room had original artwork from locals (good art!) and was bright and comfortable with great beds. Anne Marie and Dave go out of their way to make your stay memorable, and... More
