The first thing to note about this property is that it is an Inn, not a Bed and Breakfast. That means that meals are extra. But it also means there are a great variety of food options. Keep this in mind because we did not see any restaurants in the area. This is rather isolated which is part of its... More

in beautiful surroundings (the sea on three sides, no cities, airports or industry around) a comfortable (and clean) room with a large piece of a porch for yourself (choice between sunrise or sunset orientation) paired with excellent food and nice local wines, you found it! Now ad a very personal and attentive VIP service by the owners ... not sure... More

Dave and Ann Marie are the best….. hosts & foodies… and all-round nice couple! Delicious and beautifully presented dinner the evening prior; Impeccable lodging in a lovely suite overlooking a serene cove (for a wonderful night's sleep!); Amazing breakfast of several choices but one must choose Dave's special french toast with blueberry-cream cheese filling (decadent but worth every bite!); Insight... We arrived and had a very warm welcome and shown to our room on the second floor of the annexe, and saw a wonderful sunset over the sea. Dinner was excellent and a good choice of menu, all served by very friendly staff. We saw a fantastic sunrise the next morning, breakfast good and relaxed. This is definitely a special... More

This location is a real mind blower. Surrounded on three sides by the ocean and unforgettable scenery this is a place that has to be experienced. It is located on the scenic eastern shore, not near any cities, airports, or major attractions but it will surpass any expectations you might have. The rooms are very clean, in great condition, and... More

We only had one night here unfortunately but loved it and mean to return. The setting is perfect, even though we had a room in the main house and didn't have the balcony view in the other building we still had a great view of the sea. The hosts were so friendly as were the animals - Bernese mountain dog... More

Beautiful spot right theater. Excellent meal at dinner-lots of great choices and wine selection. Excellent getaway and worth every penny- friendly hosts and little treasures I small gift shop as well. We spent an afternoon gazing at the ocean even though it was overcast and fairly windy.

We arrived at the Seawind Landing with heavy wind and rain but the welcoming hosts, cozy room and fabulous dinner were wonderful distractions from the weather. Our room was on the first floor of the 8 unit building, facing the sea. The lower level view of the sea is blocked somewhat by the upper level balcony, so this might be... More

The location is out of this world. The ocean on three sides and the ocean rustle lulls you to sleep if you keep your windows open. Ann Marie and David and their dog and small bunny all play wonderful hosts. A place to really unwind, go for long walks, read sitting on the Adirondack chairs next to the ocean. 13... More

We stopped at the Canso Causeway to watch several family groups of pilot whales playing in the water near the bridge............totally wonderful..........& a good omen for our next hotel. The Seawind is perfectly situated right on the water’s edge, the only noise being the lapping of the waves from the bay. Our room is small but is comfortable, homey and... More
